I started adding dialogue for Meropi and they even got a map! I, too, wish i could just have a giant map behind me, when i'm talking to someone. Programming really makes my dreams come true.

I also added fireballs, they'll become important later.

While watching the Let's Play of Hollow Knight from About Oliver, i realized i could easily split the map in a lot of small parts, while still maintaining the feeling of one big area. Smaller levels makes them a lot easier to build and it saves a ton of performance.

This is the first look of a yellow-shining greenhouse. The whole Level is just that, you get out of the door and are back, like nothing happened.

When the game is playable, you can really see it improving from level to level.

I added the first custom skin, of which you can get one, too!

And now, if you look at the menu, you'll see "Secret robe code"

When you enter a secret code, the robe of Mairi gives her a completely new look.

For example, if you type in "icecream", you'll get this look:

This is inspired by the profile picture of my very first follower, @bruhpoleon . Sadly, in the making of all this, their blog was deleted.

Their name echoes through google, but they are gone. Maybe you still see this.

In the future i want to make custom skins for more people! More Information will be posted, once the game is in a playable state. Right now it would work, but since you couldn't play it, i'll focus more on everything else, to make it happen.

Depending on which level you closed the game, the Main Menu changes to match the look. See the first looks of three different levels and the matching Main Menu.

I added so much sounds today. Walking, swimming, jumping, dying, it all has sound now.

I may improve that in the future, but for now i am just glad it works. Obviously i was inspired of how #undertale does it, because i think it works just so well.

And you can also see part of the first quest, painting the house of Teukros Myos. It's in orange, but they prefer red. Or maybe yellow?

This was supposed to look like stone, but it looks more like cake. The borders are very subtle.

Stone with Stone Chunks. This looks just like you can climb on it. Every level is color-themed, that's why most of the blocks are orangey so far.

Classic ol' Bricks.

I wanted to make a stone made of different stones in different shapes. That was easier than i thought, they all fit just right in each other.

Obviously there is a grass variant. Yellow like the grass in Level 0, but much brighter.

At first, i thought i have to make an extra set of blocks for every brightness i want to have. I found out, you can just adjust the brightness of a layer.

And then i thought, it looks better with a combination! 3 Shades of Grey in the caves of Capital Prime.
