NZIFF was back in town tonight and I saw The Seed of The Sacred Fig - it was such a good film! It's an Iranian Crime/drama suspense centered around the family of an investigating judge. The two teenage daughters of the family play pivotal roles. A gun goes missing and events spiral from there ending in the desert.

My tap class has taken a turn for the more interesting! previously, I was the newbie to it not doing the exam - now we've had another new tapper join whose motivations seem to align with mine more. The teacher was away this week but they offered us use of the studio so I got to play teacher and practice with our new student. It was fun! now, I'm creating my own tap choreo again. Perhaps one day I'll get to teach it!

Another long weekend down South has almost come to a close. It has been a good one. I was meant to go to the ballet tonight but didn't get there for family reasons - but it's been such a packed weekend that the chance to just relax isn't unwelcome! I'm sure there will be a chance to do the ballet another time too.
