i dislike the whole “horror is so back” narrative people are throwing around recently with obsession and backrooms. both are great movies, but horror was also so back with the long walk. and sinners. and the substance. and nosferatu. and literally anything directed by jordan peele. horror as a genre will always have its flops. but there will always be those few that revive the hype.
Just saw the interview where Curry Barker explained that it's totally possible to get a normal wish from the One Wish Willow, and I love the way they did that so much. The reason Obsession happened isn't because it's trying to twist Bear's desires into something evil. It's not even because he phrased his want wrong. Obsession happened because Bear got his hands on a magic item that could do anything in existence, and chose to force someone to fall in love with him, which is an inherently evil thing to do.
If I rewrote the human centipede, I'd make it doomed Jenny x Lindsay yuri

Honestly, I have no idea because she’s kinda a blank slate character, both because Tom Six kinda sucks at writing women and because her character doesn’t really matter since he wrote this film to see a human centipede onscreen. So I assume characters that went through similar situations as her.

This is really cool, thank you sm!! Aside from growing up with FNAF, this reminds me of my old nostalgic arcade and indoor park place. It unfortunately shut down due to money loss but it felt so nice to go back on the last day it was still there. Saw tons of adults there to relive their childhoods as well.

I find it so funny how you came to me as if I’m some sort of Human Centipede encyclopedia, although at this point I might as well be. Anyways…
Theoretically yes, realistically no.
Explanation:
Both these characters are similar on account that they disregard human lives for their experiments, plus having a similar disposition/personality to the other. However, I don’t think it would actually work because:
Medic actually cares about his teammates. Granted, both in game and comics (before the timeskip at least) it’s mainly to preserve his test subjects for as long as humanly possible. However, he does form close friendships with some mercenaries, particularly Heavy and arguably Engineer, and does get along with the others. Medic likes being around people and taking to them, he just prefers experimenting. He also does his experiments based on good fun and scientific discovery.
A lot of people haven’t watched The Human Centipede but, for people that watched the first film, Heiter is a misanthrope; he actively hates humanity as a whole. The reason behind the centipede was to replace his 3-dog but the movie does allude to Heiter punishing people via experimentation. He also doesn’t care about the centipede beyond it being his “pet”, both with upfront and inferred information.
So yeah, I don’t think it would work, ever. Those two would probably throw hands upon glancing at the other.
