Werewolf/Lycanthrope Lore in my Dark Moon DR 🐺
Weres and Lycans are similar but different and rarely get along or even communicate. ( Similar to elder Vampires or different breeds.)
Lycans see themselves as better and more powerful because they can control their shifts and more animalistic nature, most are True Alpha's. And only really turn on a Blue Moon.
WereWolves on the other hand (and other Were Creatures) change every full moon and only Gamma's can control their transformation unless you are extremely strong mentally. (Depends on the hide and how long you have bonded with it.)
Chan is a Gamma Wolf, Our Leader was a True Alpha. (Yes Bang Chan from Skz is in this. We're Imprinted.)
I was an Omega, turned Delta Queen.
EJ is an Alpha in &Team but it does not come in the form of killing another Alpha, your pack chooses you.
Fuma is a Zeta and Co Leader.
Different colored Wolves have different abilities and strengths. Like Silver/White Wolves being ammune to the cold, as well as Black Wolves being great at stealth and hiding in the shadows.
Black and Red Wolves are specific to The &Team pack and although similar to Black wolves they also are immune to Fire and heat. Also are stronger during a Full or New Moon.
Weres turn into actual wolves while Lycans turn into more humanoid bi pedal ones.
With time Betas can control their anger & urges and most do not kill unless they are provoked (which usually results in them becoming Omegas not by choice, unless it's a Vampire.) Or they are predisposed to be that way.
Lycans are in no way allowed to mate with humans or Vampires. Werewolves do on occasion but it is rare and still frowned upon unless they have imprinted.
They usually find their fated mates within their own pack and can have more than one.
Imprinting on someone younger is rare and a Vampire even rarer, but like in the case of Annabelle with Fuma and Yuma, it does happen and is considered sacred and a way to bring peace to the Lycan/Vampire Wars.
As with all Wolves they have enhanced strength, sight,speed, agility and smell. Are excellent trackers (especially Sora and Chan) can be animalistic as Betas and it takes training to control their shifts.
Stronger during a Full and New Moon.
Have special abilities based on their breeds and Type.
Are not allergic to silver.
Their bite is dangerous to Some Vampires but not other Weres.
Their bite can kill a human so to turn them they use their claws, as markings.
Shifting/Transforming does not hurt or break bones.
Partial to meat but can eat anything, although most are carnivores depending on their breed.
Hybrids are stronger but also weaker as they combine both strengths & weakness from being part Were part Vampire. (Like Chan)
Can still die by bullets, unless they are a True Alpha or Gamma. But only if you can peirce the hide.
Wolfs bane is poisonous and deadly.
The younger ones are more feral and unable to control their transformation. (Depending on their personality)
Are more vulnerable in their human state but still strong.
They have hides similar to in the TV show 'The Order' but they are not always bonded to them. When they shift back into human form the hides act as animal pelts and are not attached to the body until they transform. They are stored in a magic locker/trunk that can only be opened by the carrier of the hide.
