You get shots like these on disposable cameras?? jeez and here i was thinking i'd have to shell out for a Nikon or Pentax to get the feel of some of these photos.
Disposable cameras are really weird in the sense that you get the most RANDOM results! I mean to me they're only upgraded pinhole cameras... so most shots have this grainy and somewhat blurry feel, but then out of nowhere you get these really rad shots, with perfect focus, lighting and everything. To be totally honest the luck factor is huge with these, I mean look at this shot I took back in Paris a few years back, could you tell it was taken with a disposable? Anyway, think twice before you spend big bucks on some fancy camera!

Hi Gabriel, I just wanted to ask you, do you use the same camera for everything? if yes, then which one? and if no, then which one do you use for portraits?
Hello! I usually either shoot with disposable cameras or with my Nikon FM2, which I most often use for portraits.Â
Edit : I also own a Contax T2, but I haven't really used it much lately.

Hi! I was wondering, what camera or camera's and film do you use or recommend for someone who is just starting to dabble into the world of film cameras?
As far as the camera, I would definitely consider a 35mm film SLR so you can experiment with focus/aperture/shutter speed. I usually recommend the Canon AE-1 as a good choice for beginners - it was massively produced so it's cheap - $50 on ebay, if not less! As for film, I personally started with B&W and I would recommend the same, not only because film processing and darkroom printing are so much fun, but also because I feel it gives you a hands-on understanding of how film works. Â For color, which I shoot mostly now, I usually get the cheapest film I can find.Hope this helps!GabrielÂ
