Once Minjae hears about the return of field agents, he makes sure to finish his work in the office a bit faster so he can go check on his friends --- one of them in specific, the one he cares about the most. He rushes even though he shouldn’t, doing calculations way faster than he should and yet making sure not to make any mistakes, at least not major ones. He knows the agents must be tired, he was leading one fo them in that mission but it still isn’t enough to stop him from checking up on Hajoon. 

He thinks the other man will be happy to see him, and maybe he can find a way to make his friend feel better in case he’s injured.

Despite Hajoon being a great agent, definitely one of the best Minjae has ever met, the mathematician can’t help but worry about him. And it only got worse when he isn’t the one assigned to accompany the agent in his missions --- even though sometimes he bothers him more than help. Thinking of the many times he made Hajoon laugh when he was in a stressing situation brings a smile to Minjae’s face, and he chuckles when he thinks of how stupid they can be together.

He feels a strange warmth into his chest when he remembers their memories together, something he isn’t sure if the should be feeling or not --- they’re friends, right?
