It was the voice that she recognized before anything else, not having taken the time to investigate exactly who her guest was given the circumstances, and when it hit her, her mind cried out one painfully loud question - why them? Of all the people that could have found her hidden oasis at any time, it had to be a person that caused her emotions to go haywire while she was prancing around in her birthday suit? At least there was the cover of darkness to aid her in some way, not just in covering her frame but in covering the blush she could feel heating her face in that moment. “Was it at least a good second?” Hands tugged at the fabric of her dress, being sure it covered anything that should have been covered to begin with before allowing her feet to lead her back out from behind the rock. “Of course not. Haven’t we all seen all our friends prancing around the beach in the nude under the moonlight?”
“Best second of my life.” There was always something between Raine and Aster, something unexplored, and Raine wasn’t entirely sure if they ever would explore it. Where they are in life now, is definitely not a place they were in when they were much younger. They didn’t know if they wanted to date, and truth was, when it came to Aster, they didn’t think that it could ever just be a fling with her. So Raine kept a distance, romantically at least, fearing that they’d taint whatever potential the two of them had. “This is true, I think the whole gang has seen my ass at some point.” They laugh, remembering a time when literally all of them would run around with barely a stitch on them, just because they’d smoked too much pot.
