I want more sharkflower slash fics with q!Vegetta as an obstacle, because realistically he would be! And there are like soooo many places you could go with it too, that I think play so well with what we have already in canon!!
First of all itād be tough for both of them but q!Juan especially, like that man holds so much respect for q!Vegetta, worships the ground he walks on and now he has a crush on what q!Vegetta has been very clear is his. THE ANGST POTENTIAL!!!
You could even rope in q!Pressea either as proof the fear is valid or even someone q!Juan could be jealous of, like sure she got locked in a cage and they are both crazy motherfuckers. But like at least she is free to express how she feels! At least she doesnāt have to be paranoid if her crush is too obvious or if heās acting too close to q!Foolish.
BUT WAIT THERES MORE, cause that doesnāt even start on q!Foolish, like wanting to be with q!Juan could push q!Foolish to confront what he has with q!Vegetta. Or you could even go the way where he doesnāt, continuing to go along with q!Vegettaās flirting as always despite claiming what passed has passed, making q!Juan feel shitty and insecure(which ties in perfectly with themes and topics q!Juan already covers in canon when it comes to romance)
You could go into the similarities between q!Vegetta and q!Pressea, how they at the end of the day they see q!Foolish as an object to be fought for and obtained. How q!Juan could feel as if heās not obsessed or committed enough when comparing himself to them. How q!Foolish would probably appreciate that q!Juan has other responsibilities and priorities. Because the fact that his world doesnāt center around him feels humanizing. Itās healthy to have things outside your partner and sure q!Juan can be a clingy asshole but heās not invasive, heās simply there when he needs him but not putting him on a pedestal. And I think as q!Foolish is so attracted to humanity q!Juan being and treating q!Foolish and others in a way thatās so human would be something that heād find appealing.
