Parker Ana Neves-Montgomery and her twin sister were born on April 23, 1981, in Las Vegas to Mishka and Refael Neves. What should have been a happy day was one that ended in tragedy. On the way to the hospital their parentâs car was hit by a drunk driver. Their father was declared dead on arrival. Their mother had seemed fine, the doctors had been confident sheâd make a full recoveryâŚuntil the complications started while she was giving birth. A few short months later Parker and her sister were adopted by Ben Montgomery, a mechanic (and member of the Sons) and his wife Dylan Liu, an anthropologist. When Parker was 3 the family moved from the city to Tonopah, to be close to Benâs family, and theyâve been there ever since.
Growing up the twins were more or less attached at the hip, there was no one Parker was closest to. Even as their interests shifted away from the same things, they always made sure that they were there for each other. Teenage Parker was quiet and studious, more of a wallflower than anything, but wasnât one to let challenges pass by her without a fight. For Parker her entertainment came from pop punk music, comic books, her momâs old anthropology books, fixing cars with her dad and rowing. At 18 Parker graduated top of her class and after the summer was over, she was on her way to Harvard.
Since she was a child, sheâd wanted to follow in her motherâs steps of being an anthropologist, but archeology also called her name. Being who she was she couldnât pass up the chance to try for both. So when she got to school the first thing she did, aside from joining the rowing team, was plan the perfect path to get her exactly what she wanted out of life. She hadnât really been interested in ForensicâŚanything until sheâd read Kathy Reichâs books. Soon she found herself dedicating her studies to the field of Forensics Anthropology.
For the first part of her Freshman and Sophomore years had seemed like they would follow the same path of her younger school years. Locked away in the library, nose buried in books and anthropological journals. That was until she ran, literally, into Jackson Davis. She was walking into the clubhouse for the Boston chapter of the Sons, and there he was; jacket slung over his shoulder as he sauntered out and into her. The two fell madly and deeply in love. Engaged within a year and married the next. Everything was perfect. Jackson was on the same career path as her and understood just how much went into her school, they supported each other every step of the way. They had no way of knowing that just months shy of their graduation day that everything would fall apart around them. It all started with a doctorâs visit. Jackson had been getting headaches. That was all. Except⌠it wasnât. A tumor. Months to live. Months. Trying to make the most of their time left, the married couple lived life to its fullest. With Jackson making sure that no matter what they were doing Parker was staying on track with her studies. He wanted her to keep living life after he was gone. Then came graduation day. Everything had been perfect and amazing. Most of the problems the doctors had talked about had been kept at bay. If you looked at Jackson all you would see was a healthy young man going about his life. As the clock struck midnight, with just the two of them, in their graduation party clothes and dancing around the room in the dark, it happened. Jackson collapsed into Parker taking them both to the ground. He passed before theyâd even hit the floor.
Even though sheâd promised to continue with her studies Parker took a one-year break. Moving back home and letting her family surround and comfort her. During this time the sisters had a huge falling out that resulted in Parker heading back to Boston. A few short years later sheâd finally finished what sheâd promised Jackson. After she graduated, she worked at the Smithsonianâs anthropology lab. Her first year had been spent traveling the world, going wherever a need for a forensic anthropologist was. Helping at archaeologist digs and getting her research published in scientific journals. The trajectory of her career changed in 2009 when she was asked to help the FBI with a case. A year later she was the lead forensic anthropologist for the FBI. She was assigned an official partner, Miles Reynolds, a fellow Tonopah native. They worked well together, even if he sometimes made her want to rip her hair out. In 2020, after her father mentioned there was a job opening Parker decided to take a step back from the FBI, moving back home and working as the lead forensics investigator for the Tonopah Police. While it wasnât her intention when sheâd moved back, she had helped cover a few things up for the Sons, she might not have become a patched member, but the Sons were still her family and if she was in the position to help, she was going to.
Parker of the present was much the same as the one of the past; quiet, studious, up for any challenge. She was also very different. While enough time had passed and sheâd dated a bit, she still hadnât fully moved on from Jacksonâs death and she would always carry him with her. She was also stronger in her convictions than sheâd ever been. Sheâd protect those around her, anyway she could, she hadnât been able to save Jackson because it was out of her hands. Anything she could control? You bet your ass she was going to.
Split her studies between Harvard and Boston University: Got her Bachelor of Science at Harvard, her Masters at Boston U and then back to Harvard for her PhD.
When she moved back to Boston, unable to stay at the apartment she had shared with Jackson, she moved in with Blake Scott who was starting her sophomore year of undergrad at Harvard.Â
The home they lived in had once been the Scott family's home. A renovated Firehouse.Â
Was occasionally out of town, working on forensic cases for the FBI
After the age of 14 her and her sister spent partial summers in Rio de Janeiro with their birth fatherâs family.
Speaks both English and Portuguese.
Has two Great Pyrenees dogs named; Boo and Spook
Has a two-story apartment, that she renovated, with help from Blake, from two separate apartments back when she first moved back.
Split her weekends between rowing trips and fixing up cars.
Is pretty sure sheâs one wrong move away from her life imploding from covering for the Sons, but she also wasnât going to stop.
Loves her sister very much even though they havenât talked in over fifteen years
Likes to call herself the more socially adept Temperance Brennon
