―――― parker’s smile was so wide that it was hurting her cheeks . this is the happiest she’s been in her life . her family was growing & there was nothing that could bring her off this high .  ❛ i love you too . ❜ she whispered to him , closing her eyes as she took in the moment .  ❛ dinner is probably going to get cold soon . we should go wake up nova from her nap . ❜

―――― ❛ i have heard of their strength , but if you have a video of them taking kyson down , i would love to see it . ❜ her smile grew . ❛ i’m sure a lot of people learn that the hard way . there is nothing like the wrath of a female . especially one who is hungry . once when i was a toddler , i went through the fridge & emptied bottles of condiments onto white kitchen walls . all because my babysitter would not make me a sandwich . i was quite the little terror .❜

―――― it was kind of crazy how her life ended up like this . before meeting kyson , if anyone had told her she’d have a child with another on the way , she’d have thought they were insane . all of this before the age of twenty-one . though , she wouldn’t change anything for the world ; through it all , every step of the way , it had felt perfect . ❛ we’re having another baby ! i’m about one month along . ❜ when she saw his smile , her own equally as wide spread across her face . her hands moved to rest on her stomach , where in a few short months , her belly would begin to grow . 

―――― ❛ really ? that doesn’t sound like too bad of an idea . i feel like they’d sweep the competition off their feet . ❜ parker laughed softly before continuing in a teasing tone . ❛ hey , people used to say , a happy woman is a happy life . ❜  

―――― the life kyson had was one no one should have to experience . she was glad that he was breaking the cycle , though , as nova meant the world to him . parker didn’t have her parents in the picture either , a car accident had taken them when she was young . perhaps that’s why when they had nova , everything seemed to fit into place perfectly ; it was filling something she had lost years prior . she had no reservations that kyson would be a perfect father , even if he had some of those fears for himself . she pecked his lips back , smiling against them , before taking a step back . her fingers laced in his , she walked towards the kitchen . on the table was a piece of colorful construction paper . on the paper , there was a drawing made by nova . two taller stick figures , one with long red hair , another with short brown hair stood beside a smaller figure , with longer brown hair . it was obviously a drawing of kyson , parker & nova . but there was a fourth figure , one even smaller , beside them . ❛ nova drew this . a picture of our family . ❜ parker spoke nonchalantly , as if nothing on the picture was off . she handed the picture to kyson to let him get a good look at it , leaning against the counter , watching him .

―――― ❛ it seems like you have quite the casanova on your hands . ❜ parker laughed softly with a slight shake of her head . ❛ you know , though ... he has great taste . merida is a strong disney princess . ❜  

―――― nothing was easy about either of their careers , especially when adding a child to the mix . when their schedules conflicted & a babysitter needed to be hired to watch nova , sometimes parker’s heart broke a little . however , she loved both nova & kyson with all the world & she loved her job , so in the end , they made it work . she knew that things were getting more & more stressful for kyson , so she tried to alleviate that as much as she could while he was home . when they were standing mere inches apart , her arms wrapped around his torso , settling there as her head tipped upwards ever so slightly to look at him , her smile still painted across her lips . ❛ don’t worry about it . all the time & effort put in now will be well worth it in the end . i already have dinner on --- your favorite , actually . ❜ she nodded her head in response to his question . ❛ she is laying down for a nap . we had a very exhausting day at the park & even drew pictures when we got back . they are actually in the kitchen if you’d like to see .❜

―――― parker sat curled up on a chair , her laptop resting on her knees as she scrolled through social media . every now & again she would type a reply to a comment , her smile growing bigger with each one . interacting with her fans was one of her favorite things to do . as nova napped , she had dinner in the oven . it wasn’t any ordinary dinner though . she had made sure to cook kyson his favorite meal & had nova help her with decorating the kitchen with pictures they’d drawn of the three of them . the female looked up as she heard the front door open , her smile growing even wider when the male walked in . ❛ hey , handsome . ❜ she closed her laptop & moved it to the side table before standing up & making her way across the room to kyson . // @kyson-knight​ 

―――― ❛ i made the same mistake when i had nova . i honestly didn’t think she would get so big , so quickly ! ❜ a bright smile stretched across the female’s lips , thinking back to when nova was a little baby . the years had flown by way too quickly . ❛ i might take you up on that in a few months . it’s still way too early to determine the gender of my little bean right now . ❜

―――― ❛ you did not pass that off to his mother ! ❜ the auburn haired female cringed in sympathy for the poor woman . ❛ i think i would absolutely DIE if i were put in that situation . my brain wouldn’t be able to function quickly enough to even spew the nonsense about the stork dropping babies off to families . here’s to hoping that he forgets about his question . ❜ parker laughed softly , shaking her head . ❛ i can say that my day is going better if that awkward situation has been the pinnacle of your day . i had an exciting day with my daughter at the park earlier , the most i’ve had to worry about was a scraped knee . ❜
