The Kaladkarin Diaries

You sat across the table, sipping that wine. You caught me looking at you, and then you raised your eyebrows. “How do you find the evening so far?” you asked. Such a simple question, but my mind was rambling with a lot of potential answers. So far? Well I find it….   funny how we can make sensible conversations out of using the same words over and over again.   amazing how we convey more emotions through our eyes - long stares, side glances - than through words.   incredible how you nonchalantly hold my hand out of the blue - and how I let it linger on my hand just as easily.   uncanny how I now think using words in your vocabulary, and how easily you permeated my very language.   invasive how you occupy my every waking thought without my permission.   alarming how I find it hard to imagine a day without being near you.   impossible to find a way to love you completely without being afraid of losing you.   For lack of better words, I just said “breathtaking”. I let the word seep into your mind and into your heart. And then I said “I love you…not that you don’t already know.”
