locked out of this thing everywhere but a freakin iPad

i’m getting emotional as i collage a flyer for the Girls Rock Campaign show because it’s cutouts of awesome femmes in the music scene, and using the lasso tool to cut out people like Toody Cole and Sister Rosetta Tharpe and Poly Styrene and paste them into a flyer that’s meant for  a bunch of teenage girls who are just learning to play music is really REALLY crazy and i’m also awed by the fact that already, people i’m lucky enough to play shows with, like Victoria from Downtown Boys or Marisa from Bad Canoes n Screaming Females belong on that thing and my personal heroes like Ali and Chelsea and Shannon and G.L.O.S.S and Aye Nako and Dame and Mika Miko, Grass Widow, Slutever, La Misma, Post Pink, my baby Eva from Sneaks and Deja of Mal Devisa and Ellen from Palehound and holy crap my heart is so full of admiration for the cool humans in my life that have the ability and courage and weirdness to inspire others....this is the longest sentence on this planet and i’m gonna think of a 1,000 different humans the second I press “post” so let me just stop now BYE!
