I create digital and traditional art in a versatile, yet cohesive, style. It almost looks like the symbiotic venom suit from the Spider Man Comics, but way more detailed, colorful, and psychedelic. My pieces range from aggressive and dangerous to soft and graceful, but each maintains an organic, nerve like structure. I strive to show the unification of life through the symbiotic dependency of all living things to their environments. When I look at my own work, I see alien organisms attaching to shapes then expanding outward like coral; prickly and sensitive like the human nervous system, sensing and absorbing energy like an antenna. Everything I draw is united by the style I have created, whether it's a person, animal, tree, or environment. Instinct drives me to design these interconnected creatures and landscapes. As a teenager, I decided to experiment with trusting my deep inner feelings and soon realized that this process improved my life. I would get strong urges to draw and could only calm my mind by doing so. The more I listened to my heart's desires and practiced expressing my intuition, projecting the visions from my imagination—the more I began to draw and the more I felt alive. Art became therapeutic by serving as an outlet to funnel my truest feelings into something beyond myself. It fills me with the sensation that I am on this planet at this time to be an artist, to express raw emotion and share beautiful experiences with the world. My process is intuitive and intentional, two concepts that seem to contradict, but equally guide my work. Visions arise intuitively, and each brushstroke receives my full intention so that these impulses unify and reinforce one another. A bond takes place between my abilities to draw with directed focus through hand-eye coordination and my simultaneous inner experience of pure sensations. I trust my instincts, feelings, and visions will guide each work—I am not seeking perfection or physical accuracy, but rather an authentic representation of my inner reality. When this bond happens, the intuition guides and sight keeps the work steady. My art then becomes intentionally true to every emotion I feel while creating it. I hope that by sharing my art, others will be inspired to trust their own instincts and creative impulse.
