It has been several years, but I am finally handling this side blog once again! I went on hiatus for many personal reasons, but this series is finally getting its reboot this 2025.

Please look forward to it! I am looking forward to a fresh new start; a brand new journey with this OC project.

That being said, the title "Paradoxical Gateway" may or may not be subject to change. I will make a post should it come to that.

Regarding this, "Paradoxical Gateway" may still be mentioned somewhere in this project. Perhaps a term that the characters will use from time to time, to honour the original title!

I still do have a soft spot for it, but it does not roll off the tongue as much as I'd like it to be for a project title.

Now then...

The name change would be "Shuffled; Paradoxe", something that encapsulates:

Paradox, a term used in the original title, talking about the contradictory natures of Utopia and Dystopia

Shuffle, as in a term used in playing cards (as everyone is themed after card suits)

Paradoxe is spelled with an "e" to denote the hidden paradise behind all the confusion (shuffle as a term to rearrange the cards randomly, paradox as something that appears to have contradictory existence)

With that being said, I may make an archive of this account, and make a new side blog for a fresh new start! This blog will not be deleted, but I will likely show a few old posts once more for archive's sake leading up to the new project.

Last WIP for now... the colour scheme I wanted gave me a hard time, but I found a colour palette that helped me out big time! I had to tweak it a bit and worked with it from then on.

More characters... Maria the law enforcer (upper, pink) and Drei the flower scholar (lower, green).

Maria's anti-hero levels get boosted in exchange for her outwardly friendly protag vibes. That is okay, she exchanges vibes with Axel, and Nickel gets all the friendliness! Nina will also take over the "tough big sister" role.

Drei essentially retains his essence, but he's now more flamboyant and floral than ever! I did not think of flowers when I first made him, but now he literally gets his powers from books and flowers!

They have yet to be named; but their basic personalities are determined!
