the amount of times I see daily of ābut tvd is fictional, people are going to be hated, you shouldnāt hate Damon so muchā yeah tvd is about vampires and vampires will be killing but the amount of times Damon sexually assaults women and and goes on murdering sprees because the girl he likes doesnāt like him back, and compels women is INSANE. most vampires will be terrible people.
the issue with Damon is that he is supposed to be mentally 25 but he acts like a fucked up teenager. āoh Elena doesnāt like me back? fine, Iāll kill her brother.ā or āthis woman isnāt doing what I want her to do? okay Iāll go lay out in the road and kill some humans.ā or my personal fav āTHEN STOP LOVING MEā which screams Iām never going to change so accept that. Damon doesnāt have remorse. he doesnāt feel bad for the things he does. he is a terrible brother, friend, whatever else he thinks he is. being friends with the girl he sexually assaulted mother and acting like they are cool? Stefan isnāt perfect and no one is in this show is but stop with the āDamon doesnāt deserve hateā yes he most certainly fucking does. he didnāt deserve that human life or to have āredemptionā. he is the same from the beginning to end.
also saying the show isnāt supposed to be realistic and defending all the horrible crimes Damon has done is also INSANE. āwell everyone else does it so why canāt Damon?ā please check thyself. Damon has said and shown that he doesnāt care who he is. even blames Stefan for making him be a vampire, (bitch can hold a grudge) and he shows and tells that he will not change.
