I rewatched the first Old Guard last night. It holds up. It was great. Tightly written and well paced and beautifully acted.

What the hell was Old Guard 2.

I am…baffled.

The dialogue was soap opera bad. The plot made no sense. The lore dump took away the magic and made it just contrivance. Oh and there are two new immortals no one knew about for thousands of years? Andy even hid one and no one had an issue apparently?

Don’t get me started on Nicky and Joe acting completely out of character. And Nile! She had no personality beyond loyalty to Andy.
