I remember about 8 years back now, I was raising money to help a friend out of a rough situation and offering commissions for anything paid. And some ruthless hater told me "Just get a real fucking job, fuckass".

I think about that every time I open up commissions. I think about how amazingly unhireable I am, and how I have tried to get a "real" job for years now with no call backs, no luck at all. And I think about you, anon.

I think about how I am one in several million in this country alone who can't get a job. Just scraping by on stolen joys.

I think about you, anon. You probably don't even follow me anymore, but your words still haunt me. Your extraordinary lack of understanding.

I think about all the people in my life who judge me for being unemployed. My family, especially. Who assume I don't try hard enough.
