Going for a monotone outfit is a quick way to look chic and can even make you appear taller. You may already be a pro at pulling off all black looks, but head to toe white, grey or tan ensembles have been coming to the forefront of the fashion world.

As it’s the entire focus of your look, make sure the color you choose is flattering on your skin tone and body type. My top choice is grey, but any neutral shade is a good starting point.

If you’re afraid of being boring with monotone, choose color, try picking different textures or wearing multiple layers in the same shade. You can also pick a contrasting tone for your accessories (as I have here) to offset your outfit.

These lighter looks can be quite striking, and are easy to wear and put together. Wearing a single shade from head to toe is a simple and clean way to stand out. You might even have an outfit ready to go in your wardrobe already!
