This episode was also really interesting because we really start seeing the green and black factions coming together. The obvious symbolism of Alicent wearing that green dress and declaring her allegiance to House Hightower who declared it back. Her seeking out Criston Cole in said green dress after. Larys Strong being a snitch bitch and telling her about the tea. Meanwhile the union of house Velaryon and house Targaryen not only thru Laenor and Rhaenyra but also Daemon and Laena. Harwin Strong rescuing Rhaenyra from the fight ugh it’s all being set up so well!!!

So I just finished Motherland Fort Salem and wow, this truly is one of my favorite shows ever. The concept was so original and compelling: from the first episode I was hooked not just on Raylla which is why I started it but on the whole world and the Bellweather Unit and all the characters really. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, as a musician the use of song and sound as power in this show is fucking mind-blowing and I love it. The acting, the world-building, the story-telling, the music, I love every aspect of this show. I wish we could have gotten more and yeah the pacing was a bit weird this last season because they had to wrap it all up but still I thought the overall storyline was phenomenal. Raylla was such a beautiful storyline, and even though Talder wasn’t canon, the bond between Tally and Alder was so special and Jessica and Lyne’s love of them is so amazing to see as well. I even loved Abigail and Adil and was so happy to see the joint wedding. This show got me all in my feels. So thank you Motherland Fort Salem for truly one of the most gripping and beautiful stories I’ve ever consumed.
