I decided to let my pace slow down a bit, so I aimed to finish one piece every 2 days. I also did a couple revenges, but I found myself really struggling. I decided to focus on doing one big mass attack, so I started sketching that, and I hope to finish it next week!!

I finished… 4 attacks! I had kind of a rough week, so I tried to focus on doing a few pieces I was really proud of, rather than trying to draw for 6 hours straight or churn out multiple a day.

I finished 14 attacks! I was trying to focus on quality, so I’m surprised that I was able to finish pretty much the same amount as last year. I feel like this really shows how last year helped me improve my overall speed, and the attacks themselves show how my art has grown! I’m pretty proud of myself. Here are my top ten attacks!

After Art Fight last year, I was really sad because no one attacked my OC, Honoka, even though I listed her as the one I hoped for the most. I realized after the thumbnail and main character image I had for her were a little difficult to visually read and that it may be turning people away from trying to draw her. I also realized my art skills have improved significantly since the last time I had drawn her, so I decided it was finally time to give her a new portrait! So here she is with her pet hybrid fox-wolf. I also updated her more flat reference image:

Marigold Padapple is a character I originally created for a fanfic in high school with my friends where all of us were transported to Middle Earth and fell in love with various characters. After finishing Art Fight last year, I wanted to revisit her character and make her more of her own person. I thought about what kind of career she might have, and when thinking about common jobs in the Shire, I decided it would be the most fun if she was a slightly wacky creative type who experiments with natural dyes to create her own fabrics and clothing. This led me to create friends for her who are also in the fashion industry. I really love how her character turned out, and I can’t wait for Art Fight to start! Timelapse below

Since these characters seem to be very different, I wanted to draw what some of their dates might be like and how their hobbies intersect. Even if they don’t always share the same hobbies, they still love each other and just want to be in each other’s presence. Timelapse below!
