Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.
When the art comes down, the plates get wrapped away, and every trace of a life packed into boxes, a house starts to reveal what it really is.
I bought this home to share with someone. Life had other plans, and for a long time I held onto a place that no longer held the life it was meant for.
These past few years haven’t really been about making new memories here by myself. They’ve been about growing into someone ready for what’s next.
So today isn’t a goodbye filled with sadness. It’s gratitude for what this place once was, acceptance for what it became, and excitement for what comes after.
I’ll miss the pool, though.
