I've been looking into where I can order waistbands that are smooth, and have better options for the design and have gotten quotes from an Australian company.

The first and cheaper style I've been looking at is having the logo embroidered in, and the second option is to have the logo printed on in silicone which gives a nice raised image that stretches well with the elastic.

I placed the project on hiatus after about mid last year, but I've been trying to make some progress on it again just recently! I've done more research in the time being, and I'm currently looking into companies to work with - unfortunately I had to make the decision to leave the previous manufacturer I was working with as they had really poor communication which led me not to want to entrust the project to them. I want to make sure I'm capable of providing a quality product when I get this all going :)

There's been a lot of back and forthing between myself and the manufacturer as I try and get things settled to get a final price and sample of the product.

Hey everyone! Here's the photos of the first sample I've had made for the underwear for my indiegogo campaign! This isn't the final design, and I'll list the changes that are being made below:

The font on the waistband is incorrect; at the time it was made I was still choosing. The text at the top of the photo set will be what the printing on the waistband will look like.

The waistband is a bit tight on the sample which will be fixed, and it will be replaced with a softer elastic that's a little wider in the final product.

For this particular colour style of the underwear, the stitching and print will be done in the colour seen in the text at the top of the photo set

They made two samples in different materials, so hopefully not only will I be offering the product in the standard cotton/elastane, but also in bamboo. They feel really comfortable in bamboo, but they need to be cold washed and can't be tumble dried.

I'm waiting to find out the costs for production so I can start moving forward with sorting out the campaign!

These two styles of Hanes boxer briefs for women (which, as far as I know, are not in production any more) are a good example of the style of underwear I'm trying to make.

In my design I went for a wider waistband, and removed the false penis-pocket from the design. I also decided to use the stitching through the middle of the front and back to add to the design by making it stand out with colours.

These are two mock ups of the style and colouring I'm aiming for. The number of colours I'll be able to make available will depend on how much it will cost to have them made in different colours, and how much interest the project gets.
