The first and likely one of the very few times I'll draw any of my own characters for Art Fight XD This was a personal revenge I made for @sweetiepea-art

Azrael is the angel of death, the collector of all souls, and the benevolent consoler of grief. They are the third Primordial Archangel of Universum. Azrael behaves as a psychopomp in the mortal and spirit realms of Earth, carrying souls of the deceased to their trials of judgment. Azrael primarily resides over the dimension of Limbo, alongside their counterpart and sister, the angel of life. They weigh the karmic debt of souls here, and guide those who pass their trials in Limbo to the realms of their guardian angels.

Azrael's name takes inspiration from the Islamic archangel of the same name. Azrael's realm is said to take loose inspiration from the true form described of the Islamic entity, earning their title, "The lord of a sky with ten thousand eyes, and a sea of ten thousand tongues."

Reference Sheet Terminology:

Virtue - The elements in the mortal world that angels get their power and inspiration from.

Throne - The dimension in which an archangel performs their duties in. Limbo is the second dimension, and is the world of trials souls must pass to reach the afterlife.

Class - A rank for angels in relation to their virtue. Primordial Archangels are the most powerful of all angels, and have existed before the creation of the universe.

Angelic Beast - The animal form an angel takes when entering the mortal world.

Counterpart - An opposing virtue of an angel that helps maintain the balance of both virtues in the world. Neither of these virtues could properly exist without the other.
