I’ve been playing with the Caesar’s New Regime mod and I’ve been really loving the alternative armour sets for the Legion, particularly Vulpes’ set.

Mongrel was born into an impoverished small tribe in the outskirts of The Boneyard, California. Her original name was lost to her after her mother and other tribe members were gunned down by an NCR squad for illegally harvesting another farmer’s crops. Hiding behind scrap, the young twelve year old girl was eventually found by a travelling trader and joined his caravan to The Hub. She survived off of odd jobs until joining the Far Go Traders as a freelancer, until she was shunned with no pay for failing to protect her cargo during an ambush by a local gang. She banked in a favour with an old friend and landed a job with the Mojave Express. Her work brought her as far as the outskirts of Two-Sun, in which she survived off of unscrupulous practices that eventually caught the attention of the Legion.

Avoiding enslavement, she became a Legion informant and leaked the contents of sensitive documents to Legion spies and explorers. Mongrel was able to escape the fallout of the Divide when a Legion squadron found her in the ruins, transporting her back to the Mojave to receive medical treatment. She continued working with the Mojave Express when she was intercepted by Benny and his band of Great Khans outside of the small settlement of Goodsprings.

While Mongrel woke up without her memories, the sight of the two-headed bear on the NCR flag still disgusted her, steering her towards the golden bull amid the destruction of Nelson. In the present day Mongrel is seen as a valuable asset to Caesar, as her gender and appearance allow her to disappear into NCR settlements without suspicion.
