Creative Discovery Of Self

I want to talk about ideas. I want to know where you put yours. I put mine in a little brass box where they take the shape of rings. When I need an idea, I place one on my finger. Sometimes I’ll write it down in my notebook, but other times the ring slides off into the shower drain. I try to fish for it, but I can’t ever find it. Maybe somethings aren’t meant to be found. Maybe it wasn’t a very good idea anyway. Maybe I won’t miss it, but I know will. I’ll try to remember, so I can see that idea transform. I want it to be something. Though, that’s probably why it escaped. It was probably happy as a ring in my brass box. I should have left it alone. Looked at it from afar. But I didn’t. I was too quick to put it on and I didn’t listen to it. I didn’t pay attention to what that ring wanted to become. I’m sorry little ring. I hope you’re not lonely.
