Ok re: Chantal & Matthew. I also am a big fan of the “Matthew mamasboy wishing he could confide in Chantal” type of characterization you described earlier & I think Chantal is sometimes really underexplored & utilized (likely bc the Keith A+ parenting of it all is so juicy and there are so many readily available moments to pull from irl).
I feel like we know so much less about her other than a kind of hockey wife-mom persona… but I remember seeing in some article that she went to U of Manitoba Business school & was interested in architecture and design before she had kids. Which is so interesting to me…

its so underutilized. listen i love fics where matthew can confide in chantal (esp a/b/o fics where she's mama omega and how that conflicts with keiths treatment of matthew as an omega) but i think that people to utilize the possibility that maybe she wouldnt stick up for him in certain ways. but i also love more-canonical (im kicking you out if you speak to my son that way again- chantal to keith ab matthew) chantal and matthew interactions in fiction though too
