I do not wish to sound rude, but I am curious. I had thought you were Christian, yet you post a bit about Vikings and that time period. I do not doubt your faith, but I do not see much in the way of it in your posts. I wanted to ask to make sure I did not mistake your background. I would still follow your blog even if you were not Christian. :)
I’m a Christian and I post about it sometimes, but I mostly post Viking and Celtic things because my blog is about heritage and tradition, and those are my ancestors. I like learning about them and their culture and beliefs, especially since it’s stuff that we’re never taught in school (as opposed to Greek and Roman mythology). It’s neat to see that there are some similarities between my faith and the faith of my ancestors. I’m also interested in the early days of Christianity in Northern Europe (especially Ireland).
Most of my posts about Christianity are when I’m defending it from people that have no idea what they’re talking about. Yesterday, for example, there were Asks from this guy trying to say that the Bible encouraged hate (he had some silly and incorrect examples) so I had to look through and quote actual verses to him.
My blog is mainly about:
-Northern European culture and beliefs
-Early Christianity in Northern Europe
-Traditionalism and the beliefs that go along with it
-Racial genetics
-Cabin and landscape photos
-Some TV shows and movies I like
-Southern culture
My faith is a little more personal to me than it is to a lot of people, so that might be why I don’t post as much about it. I don’t go to church, I prefer to study the Bible on my own. I’d rather ‘discuss’ questions I have about it with God than with other people. I don’t really know how to explain it.

I haven’t seen a set like this yet, but I just wanted to give a special shout to the ladies who want to be mothers, but can’t have children. Mother’s Day is probably not the easiest day for them. So, let’s take a moment to think of those ladies out there who in their hearts are mothers, but just weren’t given the chance to be. You are mothers in my eyes, and you deserve the world. Happy Mother’s Day.
I do not wish to sound insensitive, but could not such women adopt? I know there are good children that could use the love both parents had to give.
Of course she could (and, in my opinion, should), but it’s expensive and there’s a long waiting list for newborns. Plus, even after she gets an adopted child that she loves to death, she might still feel some sadness from never having been able to experience pregnancy and childbirth or pass down her genetics.
God always has a plan for such things. He does not give us more than we can handle. If she could not have the blessing of life from her own womb, then she could be mother to children who had a bad start in life that need the care that only she could give.
The children that are in the system at 6,7 and 8 or older need a good home as well. When I settle down I would not mind fostering such children to give them a good experience, impart advice and teaching of my faith and help push them into productive citizenship. :)

What would you say to a mother who tragically had a miscarriage?
As I have lost children to miscarriage, I would say I am deeply sorry for the loss of her child. I know you are trying to equate miscarriage with abortion, but they are nothing alike. A miscarriage is a natural death outside of the control of the mother. An induced abortion is the intentional killing of a healthy child who would have continued to live if not for the cruel intervention of an abortionist.
Every child lost is a tragedy, no matter the manner of their death. But abortion is especially egregious as their killing is predicated on their level of ‘wantedness’. A society can never attain greatness so long as they are willing to sacrifice their own children for their collective convenience.
Comparing miscarriage to abortion is like comparing a born child that died of a genetic disease to one whose mother stabbed him to death.

God puts a man and a woman together not to find love in one another, but to give out of the fullness of God’s love in them.
Yet their love for one another, is a byproduct all the same of that. They reflect to love of God on one another. In time, the fruit that God sets forth in her womb, flowers into another immortal Soul that is greater than all the galaxies in all existence. A beautiful plan for life.
For those women today, for whatever reason it is done, when you sacrifice your unborn child you are a Molochite.
Moloch was a God that had infants sacrificed to it through fires. Newborn babies tossed into a furnace as a means of appeasing the God.
Today, the God Moloch still exists. Through the guises of sexual immorality to produce that chance for sacrifice. Then the push in the feminine culture from certain areas that a woman should not be 'tied down' by a child.
There are many women, of many races and socioeconomic stances, who feel compelled to act on the sacrifice of their child. Who is innocent from the choice you made to have sex.
May God have mercy on us all and send his angels to comfort all mothers struggling with an unexpected pregnancy that causes them such distress.
