I'm over here pointing at them like, "Did you see they got their name in the paper??" or "They got to interact with one of their favorite bands!"

I'm proud of my friends and the work they put in and the experiences they get to have.

I got to see that person learn and grow into the person they are now, and, fuck, if I couldn't see that, I don't know. God, what a privilege it is to see someone else's narrative unfold in front of you.

I just don't know what kind of person I would be now if I couldn't...

The only time I ever feel that way, is when other people ask something like that, because, naturally, I'm just like, "LOOK AT MY FRIEND!"

The thing that makes me feel the most content in life, is knowing my friends are well, and when they're not? I hope they never think I'm somehow happy about it.

I want my friends to thrive and persist.

“Seriously?”

Dew grit his teeth as his eyes followed the dip of Swiss’ spine to where the multi ghoul bent over the edge of the bed. 

“I said harder, did you not hear me?”

Swiss arched further purposefully, resting his chin on his folded arms as he wiggled his hips back. He almost sounded bored. Something undeniably arrogant in the way he continued to prod at the other ghoul. Like pushing Dew’s buttons was the most fun he was having. 

“I did hear you, and didn’t you hear me say shut your fucking mouth?” He practically spat, venom on the tip of his tongue, and much to his chagrin Swiss chuckled. 

“So why haven’t you shut me up?”
