"Are you Bruce Banner?"

Eva enters the room alone, though there are two others dressed in black that hang outside in the hallway. One hand rests on her bag while the other give a quick wave. She already knows the answer to the question but she's just being polite.

"My name is Eva Stratt and I am the head of the Petrova Taskforce. Can I have a moment of your time?"

"Are you in need of assistance?"

His horse takes a few steps back, obviously rattled. Darcy gives her neck a few pats, gripping the reins taut to control and keep her steady. Something has her uneasy and he wonders if maybe there's a storm brewing. The clouds rolling in are dark and gloomy.

"Perhaps a ride into town?"

It is already known that she speaks multiple languages; English, Russian, and mandarin. These are world languages necessary for her to do her job. This is to expand a bit on this because on top of being a history major, about half way through, she decided to minor in language/linguistics. Being able to explore how language varies and change and how children learn language gave her an opening to be a polyglot.

"You don't have to apologize." There is always a time and a place for a tangent and it just so happens he finds them both. She listens intently, absorbing every detail. Learning something new always goes over well with her. Besides, she chose him because of his opinions. It would go against all she does if she didn't take the time to listen to what he has to say.

"Don't get too used to it." She looks up from her own breakfast; a plain bagel with cream cheese and two coffees in front of her. "Now that you've been officially brought into the project, our time is valuable." Eva isn't one to sit and eat breakfast. She's on the go; in and out of meetings; from conference rooms, to labs, to everything in between—and so will he now.

For a moment, Clark almost forgets who he's supposed to be. He lifts the bin like it's empty despite being filled with equipment that alone would take effort to carry. He moves it with ease off the chair, setting it on the nearby table.

"O-Oh!" He rubs the back of his neck sheepishly. "I get that a lot... But I grew up on a farm. Gotta be able to handle the weight." It's an easy excuse, one that makes sense and usually doesn't get a follow up.

"Is that supposed to make me feel better?"

It's out of the ordinary so that's supposed to make it okay? Emma doesn't take insults lightly. She's always been rough around the edges and every now and then, someone gets caught on one of them.

"Am I supposed to take it lying down? Huh?"
