Everyone in town knows she’s a foster kid. It’s something that travels. She gets a lot of looks when in convenience stores and on more than one occasion, she has had her bag checked to make sure she didn’t shoplift. 

 She wears a leather jacket at all times. This is her armor and it gives her more confident than she feels. She acts tough and cold but has a soft spot for those younger than her who can’t always defend themselves. She’s stood up to a number of bullies. 

 Emma has a Ducati that she’s saved up for the parts and outfitted herself. It’s not much of a looker because not all the parts are new, but it’s hers. Her foster parents helped her out a bit and it’s the only reason she’s stuck around and hasn’t flaked on them because they seem decent enough and made her feel like she could finish school safely.
