some tidbits on ruby:

panini being reaped for the 74th games, he's got a 0 chance of coming back, in most people including his own family's minds.

but panini is familiar with wooded areas and hiding himself, he's quiet and moved quickly on his feet.

however, adding the aspect of finding your own food, other people being thereand how they're able to murder others , throws him off.

panini isn't strong physically like peeta is, he's not hauling sacks of flour around, and he's not good at painting himself either. when it comes to anything peeta has learned in the bakery, panini has not. he spends as much time away from the mellark's and their bakery as he can, missing most of what he could've used to aid himself in the games.

i honestly don't know if panini would survive in the hunger games, it's a coin toss situation.

thinking of panini surviving the fbing of d12 and escaping to d13, it’s hard to say how he’d be afterwards? he didn’t have anyone to begin with, but after that in a way.. he’s truly alone.. like... the words mother and father and brother were at least something he could think of or say, but that’s gone. so what does he do? he’s got no reason to isolate himself now, no reason to be alone physically. whatever identity he had before is sort of gone..

panini is the type of boy who writes poetry and stories and maybe even songs about someone, not even in a romantic way, if he hates you, he’ll write about you. if he likes you, he’ll write about you. writing is how he expresses himself because he’s not much for vocalizing his thoughts unless absolutely necessary.
