Chris gave a slight nod. At least she was cooking anyway. He didn’t want to be a burden. He’d caught onto the stress that Scott had been under and he knew that at least some of it was worrying about Melissa. He’d also caught a glimpse of the bills laid out in the dining room and Chris made a mental note to give them some anonymous help with that the next time he went to the bank. “Thank you, Melissa.”
Melissa smiled as he said thank you and she nodded. She started to lead him up to the guest bedroom. "I have cleaned it since Issac has been gone, so you won't have to worry about teenage boy smell." she said wit ha smile "And you are welcome. Just know that you can crash here anytime and maybe one day you'll move in here for a bit so I can make sure someone is looking after you." she said as she squeezed his arm softly as she opened the door.
A gleam of joy shone in his eyes, finally! but it soon dimmed when she questioned who he was. “I’m- a distant relative.” He nodded trying to look as convincing as possible. “I came here looking for him.” That was the truth, just not all of it.
Melissa took a moment as he seemed to hesitate on who he was. She folded her arms and looked at him and nodded, "Well he is in Beacon Hills. He's a rather busy guy." she said as she didn't want to be giving information to someone who might be harmful. Issac was a third son to her. She sighed softly, "What type of distant relative are you? I heard all of his family was dead."

On the Brink [Chris x Melissa - Closed]
Chris cried out as he and Jordan managed to get the pole straightened out enough that he could free himself from the wall. He knew that the worst was yet to come since Peter had impaled him and pulling the pole out would probably cause more damage than anything but with the metal bad being stuck into the wall so deep he only had one option. With Jordan’s help he managed to pull himself free from the pole with an agonizing scream as he dropped to the ground of the tunnel, too weak to go any further. “Just go.” he rasped out. He felt Jordan help him to his feet and was in a daze as they made their way out of the tunnel and to the Deputy’s car. He must have passed out on the way to the hospital because he couldn’t remember the drive over or stumbling in to the hospital barely hanging on by a thread. All he remembers is waking up to bright lights and white walls with Melissa McCall standing over him. “He should have let me die.” he rasped out weakly.

Melissa looked at him as she brushed some of his hair on his forehead a little and she licked her lower lip. "No he shouldn't have. You have too many people who will miss you if you ever passed. You still have fight in you, Mr. Hunter." she said as she started to check on his wounds. Jordan had dropped him off before going to find Lydia. She had done most of the work because they were short staffed and a trained surgeon came in and helped him. They were lucky he came in when they did. If he hadn't, he would have lost way too much blood. He was still getting blood transfusions, a pain medicine iv mixed with nutriants and everything. "Now if you want I can tell the doctors you just want to die, but according to these machines you have life. Overall how do you feel?"

Her hand came on his shoulder and he felt himself tensing up. Chris took a deep breath and forced himself to relax again, rubbing his face lightly. It had been too long since he’d had a good night’s sleep. Even when he had had time to lay down there’d been nightmares, but he hoped they weren’t quite as intense as when he was in the apartment. “You don’t have to do that.” Chris shook his head slightly. “You’ve got enough to worry about.”
Melissa smiled as he tensed and then relaxed for her. She licked her lips and she nodded softly, "I know I don't have to do that, but I want too and I'm going to have to eat tonight anyways, so it's visitors choice." she said with a grin. She patted his back and she gazed at him. She knew some sleep would do him some good and if he had any demons visit him tonight she would be there.

Stiles looked at the ground a bit stoically, taking in a deep breath before responding to Melissa’s words. “Umm…it’s not…it’s not my blood, actually. Not…not all of it, anyway…” he explained, swallowing thickly as he shook his head just the slightest bit. “I…I don’t even know who he was…”
Melissa looked at Stiles and she sighed softly, "What happened?" she asked as she brought him inside and she offered him one of Scott's shirts and a wet rag. "You can relax, I won't judge or send you to your father. I just want to know you are okay." Melissa said gently.
"It’s not like you females don’t love bossing us around…" he muttered with a small smile. It was literally a small wound that he made on himself while cooking, but it was bleeding way too much to take care of it by his own.
Nathan walked to the room that she pointed out and waited for the nurse “I sliced my finger and it’s pretty deep. But nothing serious.”
She laughed and she looked at him, "Of course I love bossing around men. Especially since I haven't had one to boss around for a while." Melissa said as she watched him go in the room. She and Nate talked on and off around Beacon Hills since they were both parents of a teenagers. It was nice to have someone she semi knew in the place.
"What were you cooking? finger tips instead of pork tips?" she teased him lightly. She looked at the finger and she nodded, "You need some stitches. I can do them instead of the doctor if that is okay." she said as she put a compress on it while she started to gather her stitching supplies.
" You wanted me to call you? Of course, I mentioned to Scott that you are very hot. “
"I heard you were talking about me in a good way. Of course I wanted you to call me, we never finished the date or did anything. Felt as if I failed in some levels. Or that it was all to get to Scott only."

Chris furrowed his brow lightly as she spoke. Naps were luxuries that Chris hadn’t been able to treat himself to as of late. But she did have a point with the offer. He wondered if he really did look that exhausted. Chris hadn’t had a proper nights sleep in a while and with everything that was going on, he wasn’t going to be any use if he was dead tired. He sighed lightly and then gave her a slight nod. “Alright.”
Melissa knew she just semi threatened a hunter, but it was needed. She licked her lips as she ran her hands along her arms. She took a breath as she looked into his eyes. He finally agreed to her terms and she walked over and she put a hand on his shoulder. "Thank you for doing this, and I promise, anything comes along text that you need to know or is important I'll come and wake you up. I'll have food ready for you too when you awaken, what's your favorite meal."
