At times I may grow weak

And feel a bit discouraged

Knowing that someone

Somewhere could do a better job

For who am I to serve You?

I know I don't deserve You

We've been longing to explore this paradise for a long time. Its white sand, breezing wind, unfailing waves, mouthwatering dishes, historical spots and unforgettable night life experience are just few of the main reasons why people keep coming back for more.😊

Take the bus going to either Laoag or Vigan and tell the bus driver/conductor where you're getting off. Usually, tourists choose San Juan or San Fernando as their setting point for their La Union travel. It would take 5-6 hours of travel before you reach La Union so be conscious of your time frame while riding the bus.🚌😊

*** Kahit gabi na kaming nakarating we still considered that as our first day. Kumayod pa kasi kami bago gumala.😂 So, bago kami natulog kumain muna kami. Hindi naman kami mahilig sa mga fancy restaurant, street foods sa amin sapat na. 🍢😊 Tapos, naglibot muna kami sa San Fernando Plaza kasi sobrang nakakatuwa ang daming tao and mafefeel mo talaga yung christmas season.❤🎄😊

Second Day❤

Since it's sunday, we decided to attend church mass at St. William The Hermit Cathedral. I still remember when I was waiting outside the security personnel did not allowed me take pictures kaya wala kaming masyadong picture. ⛪❤

First Destination - Pagoda Hill. This place is also known as the Filipino-Chinese Friendship Park or Chinese Pagoda because it commemorates the bonds of friendship and the deep, long history between the Filipino and Chinese people. This spot is good for those romantic people who wants to spend the scenery with their love ones. But this is not only for lovers, it can still be enjoyed alone for meditation or even with group of friends for great bonding. People have always remembered seeing the beautiful La Union sunset from the sun deck. 🏯

Next destination- Gapuz Grapes Farm. For those on a budget, good news: there is no entrance fee for this farm. Visitors need only to pay for the grapes and goods they’re interested in purchasing, or a small fee for those who simply want to take pictures within the vicinity. Feel free to talk to the owners or employees in the area, who’d be happy to tell you more about the grapes they grow. Sadly on the day that we went to the farm there's no available grapes, because the place was damaged by the typhoon. 😊🍇

Our last stop is here in Bahay Na Bato – We were amazed with this unique sculptures around the house which for sure is made with lots of hardwork and passion. Spectacular place for selfies and for those who are in arts. In this remote town of this province you can find one of the tourist destinations being visited by thousands of tourists because of its unique man-made attractions and the millions of pebbles in the beach. Swimming is prohibited, the ocean is very deep as you can see. The waves here are strong, you’ll end up being slammed towards the large pebbles. You don’t want to be injured while enjoying your stay. So be safe. Some of the sculptures and carvings showcased here are SPG.😂

Our world has been turned inside out as we continue to self-isolate during the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s hard not to think about the virus because it has literally touched every area of our lives. We’re separated from family and friends.

Churches have closed their doors. Schools are closed, jobs are either on a total loss, on hold, or some are working from home. Gyms, restaurants, and other small businesses are forced to close and grocery stores have limited hours. Then there’s the news; every story or report seems grimmer than the next.

The coronavirus pandemic is confusing and frightening for hundreds of millions of people. During this historical moment in history, it’s hard not to be anxious or worry. During this time of global pandemic with COVID-19, this Psalm speaks of God’s presence, power, and protection against fear. Fear is the one emotion God doesn’t want to overtake us; because when we fear, it reveals in our hearts how we are relying on our own efforts and not trusting our Savior.
