god my absolute favorite feeling is devouring a book, when you get so into the pages and the words that you have to stop your eyes from skipping lines and force yourself to read every word, when you’re so impatient for what happens next that you can’t sit still while reading, when you have to re read whole pages because you were too busy predicting and anticipating that you missed the actual events, when you read a part that’s too good for words and you have to close the book and scream into your pillow, that’s what reading a truly great book is about and the feeling is even better when you haven’t found a book like that in a long time and then you stumble across one and something inside of you awakens

it’s been a productive couple of days: went to tate modern yesterday + did some research in preparation for my art essay (looked at carl andre’s bricks, liu jianhua’s blank paper, donald judd’s stacks of steel units) then spent today in a little café in soho, working on organic chemistry for my finals.

i don't use an app but i basically arrange the pics on a square white canvas then manually crop them into 9 sections. it is kind of a long process tho not gonna lie haha (￣Д￣；；

honestly and seriously - all of the above (´∀｀) if i had to put them in order: art, music, literature, stationery then video games.

17. how do you motivate yourself?

um i’m generally self-motivated because i won’t stop worrying about a piece of work until it’s done and i really hate that feeling. but if i do feel especially unmotivated, this sentence just automatically pops into my mind and gets me back to work - all the time, without fail: “the future you will thank you.” seriously.

also i reward myself every now and again, just like with small and simple things e.g. boba ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡

20. fave playlist?

my everyday playlist is called: ウエーブ and it’s on my spotify (my username is yuuna). i also have a study playlist on there that’s full of chill, instrumental stuff if you want to check it out 🎼🍃

i read norwegian woods and quite liked it! do you have any other book recommendations from murakami? ^^

ahhhhhh norwegian wood is my all time fave omgggg 😩👌🏻✨but anyways, i recommend 1Q84, kafka on the shore and colorless tsukuru tazaki the most. happy reading~
