I’m so sad and I hate working in restaurants and I just realized I’m only half way through a 13 day work streak and I only get ONE day off at the end of it and I know the shifts are really short so I feel like I can’t complain but it’s SO stressful to have like 6 hours of your day eaten up EVERY day, I feel like I have no time for myself and it’s not even because I’m spending my time contributing to something that matters I’m just going to my stupid jobs that I’m not even good at to help out business that actually couldn’t give less of a fuck about whether or not I’m there, they just need someone to clean shit and serve stuff.
I’ve been trying to use the second halves of my days to be productive and hang out with people so it doesn’t feel like my life is just work, because in reality it’s really only six hours of my day, but doing things like that after work kind of just feels like I never get to rest. To make a long story short, I’m going to kill myself.

Desks are very important. A desk was the first piece of furniture i ever bought. Like i had one before i had a dresser or hangers
I realized a couple years ago that I completely stopped needing a desk and it is absolutely because I don’t do ANYTHING anymore. Desks are for people who are studying or making art or doing paperwork or computer stuff or drawing or whatever and I don’t do any of that because I’m a big looser. The search for a good desk is a noble endeavor in my eyes, I’m proud of you both.

In what world is going bald even comparable to menopause. Balding can even be a symptom of menopause
Aidan and I had round 2 of our discussion and they still think they would rather go through menopause than go bald and because of the reasons they gave me I think that’s a fair personal preference, I’m still on the fence about what I’d prefer, BUT we also came to the conclusion that by almost every measure experiencing menopause IS worse. Aidan also works with a lot of really sad bald, and has a very hapoy mom who said post-menopause is awesome, so I think those factors may have influenced their personal preference. MUCH to consider here.
