It’s no secret that I’m a Bumbleby shipper, so you’d assume I ship Whiterose, right? I’m all about the wlw representation.

Thing is, I don’t ship Ruby and Weiss together. The reason is I head canon Ruby as (EDIT: an aromatic) asexual and until the show provides hard evidence she isn’t, I’ll continue to think this.

However, just because I don’t ship Ruby with anyone, it doesn’t mean I have a problem with people that do. I don’t go into Whiterose, Lancaster or Rosegarden posts, tweets or videos and tell everyone that Ruby isn’t into them, that there is no evidence they have feelings for each other, that people are stupid for shipping them.

The reason I don’t do this? I’m not a dick. These fans are just having fun and expressing their excitement for a certain aspect of the show. Just because they don’t think like I do, doesn’t mean I have to dump all over them.

This fandom, and ever other fandom, would be a much nicer place if we all let each other enjoy what we enjoy. If someone likes a ship, let them. If someone likes a certain character, let them. If someone likes the world building, the plot, the fights, let them.

We all love this show, so lets enjoy it together. We really don’t have to attack each other.

-Saying “based on zero interactions” just proves he’s never watched the show past its trailers. They are friends, they have interacted you can’t just use stone cold takes from people who don’t like Blake, Yang and BB overall and pass them as yours because you clearly don’t watch the damn show.

If you haven’t noticed, Professor Ozpin doesn’t exactly have a “steampunk” look to him, but his office sure does. The truth is, he does actually incorporate steampunk elements to his wardrobe in the form of gear-printed underwear. The only people who know are Glynda and one student who both found out by accident when Glynda brought the student up to speak with Ozpin about the student’s unsatisfactory behavior.
