Knock knock, is this thing still on? You're probably wondering where I've been. The answer honestly isn't very interesting. I've just been working from home which doesn't have that same aesthetic appeal for photo shoots as the main shop. That being said, take a look at this lovely Glow Avalon headed to the land down under tomorrow 🥰 I always love the way these come out. The contrast really helps sell that this is a wooden ring made out of pure metal. Not really sure it gets much cooler than that. Big thanks to those of you who have stuck around. If you've ever wondered what an engraving looks like on my glow liners, guess no longer. Engraving a glow ring adds a nice subtle touch. I mentally associate things very easily so to avoid hating making rings in lieu of Ren being gone I put it aside for the past 1-2 weeks to breathe and practice #painting. RIP Ren 2019-2020 Today at 11:30 am Kathryn and I had to make the hardest decision after thousands of dollars in treatment and 2 long months on the dot. Ren battled FIP with high spirits to the last second munching down tons of sugar cookies (because he's weird) and cat treats. Even though he left way too early at only 9 months old he went from being a one-eyed victim of a hoarder to the most lovable cat possible. Even when he couldn't walk he'd drag himself to my computer chair to try and sit in my lap and he'd do pull ups and tear up our sheets using every bit of his energy to hoist himself onto the bed to sleep with us at night. I have no doubt that we did everything we could but it's still hard to lose a best friend. We really appreciate everyone who donated or tried to make us laugh and raise our spirits while we struggled to watch him deal with everything. This is the way. What would you like to see next? My first mini painting EVER. Learned so much from my mistakes during this rodeo. I want to make sure when Oxu starts selling painted (and unpainted) original figurines they're of the quality you've come to expect from me from my rings. Like everything else I've released I'm taking my time to maximize quality. My main issues are with the helmet being lumpy, the sand on his boots looking flat, and the gun being patchy. What did you guys think of Season 1 of The #Mandalorian ? Episode 1 doesn't do the show any justice, it's the last few episodes that give me insane hope for its future. From imagination to reality. In less than 24 hours I was able to design something on my computer, print it, and have a functioning piece that has a real world purpose.
