I went to his show at the Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. First of all, let me just say, that wasn't a fucking hotel, that was a fucking indoor mini-city. What the hell, Borgata? What the hell? What are you overcompensating for? There were about fifty restaurants, and night clubs, and shops. What are those there for? There is an entire city outside!

But I digress.

Just a few minutes into the show, Russell decided to enter the crowd, make his way to the very back of the room where I was sitting with my mom, and walk down my aisle. I was at the very opposite end of the aisle, giving me ample time to pee my pants and shriek like a tween who just saw Lautner's bare chest (I never really understood their enthusiasm until that very moment). He finally made it to my end of the aisle, when he was distracted by some drunk lady in the row in front of me grabbing his nuts. So he walked right by me. He stopped to hug my mom though.

Just as he was about to walk down the stairs, my mom stopped him and turned him back toward me, saying that I was her daughter and wanted a hug too. And he gave me one. And I died. Just Died. It was the best hug I have received in my life!

Now, to fully understand this, you have to picture yourself hugging your favorite celebrity. We all have them. That one celebrity that you follow everything they do religiously, and love unconditionally, and would sell your soul to the devil to meet. Russell Brand is that celebrity to me.

I adore the guy. His eloquence just astounds me. And upon meeting him, I only love him more. I can pretty much be happy forever now. Anything can come my way and I can be like "Fuck it, I hugged Russell Brand."

Getting mugged? Don't give a fuck, I hugged Russell Brand.

Didn't get into any colleges? Well, At least I hugged Russell.

World ending? Who the fuck cares? I hugged Russell motherfucking Brand.
