He shrugged. “Well if you’re afraid of doing anything dangerous, then I’m afraid we won’t ever be able to do anything fun together.” He sighed, quirking a brow. “Safe is boring, you know.”

“Well, I’m sure you’re bound to find a few lurking around the frat house on the night of the event.” Taemin smirked, shrugging his shoulders. “Depending who we’re talking about, I’m sure I can also put in a good word for you. After all, as president I do have a bit of power.”

“I can find babes in a frat house any night of the week.” He assured him, smiling a bit and waving his head. “But babes and free alcohol sounds like a good time to me. Especially with pyrotechnics.”

“You mean you could do a lot with that size. I’m not really interested but I have no problems bringing it to you.” Jaesun smiled, biting his bottom lip. “I’m sure you have more use for it than the bush does.”

“Well, I mean, god, my dude! The instragram potential alone!” He insisted, laughing loudly. “It would be such a good photography prop. Come on, tel me I’m wrong. I dare you.”

“It was so much fun, but then again I love my grandparents and all their friends.” Shannon shrugged, she did love a good talk with her grandma’s bridge friends. “And I love art, so it really wasn’t all too bad.”

He shrugged a bit. “Well as long as you enjoyed yourself, I guess. But usually, any sort of fancy-shmancy event is stupid and a waste of time.” He sighed. “I don’t know how you can sit through it.”

“Yeah…Honestly what drawn me to it was people saying how easy it was. They didn’t mention how boring it was.” He sighed. “Sadly I can’t, it’s part of my major…Luckily I have a year left of it.”

“I guess I do like easy things.” He said, smirking a tiny bit. “But not boring. I’d rather have something that’s difficult but interesting than easy and boring. Maybe it’ll get better?” He offered, shrugging a bit.

“Ugh. I have no idea what you said, but it sounded so hot,” Jenny gushed, a smile dancing across her lips. “So you’re from France then?”

He laughed a little, rolling his eyes. “Yeah. I lived in Paris until I was fifteen, and then again for a little while when I was seventeen and eighteen, but now I’m here.” He declared. “Where are you from?”

“I’ll drink to that.” Mike cheered out with a laugh. “You too, Jynx. I hope I’m not disturbing anything important to pull away for burgers. Burgers are probably worth it though. Any suggestions on where to start?”

“Fuck, no, that shit is boring.” He immediately assured, waving away his schoolwork. “Burgers are way more important. I guess the first place to start would just to be to get out of here and maybe walk around downtown, yeah? There’s gotta be a burger joint around here somewhere! It’s America! Isn’t that you guys' thing?” He questioned, grinning.

Brows flit upwards amusedly at the other’s candid statements. Not something he wasn’t entirely new to, given his job. Sapphire hues dance over the assigned professor’s name on the page fleetingly, and then the student’s, before glancing back up at him. “Well, Jynx,” hands begin thoughtfully toying with the pen in his hands. “Why do you want to study foreign languages?”

Jynx just made a face, mumbling something in french to himself. “Don’t say my name like that.” He huffed. “And because it’s interesting. It lets me connect to people! And it’s useful when I travel to new places and can actually speak to the people there. I already know English. I speak it perfectly fine! Why do I have to learn more?”

“Fuck you, it’s still a vegetable kind of thing.” She scoffed, adding in an eye roll. “Sodium is good, why do you think I’m always back on my bullshit and eating fried shit?”

“Yeah but like. Why don’t have an actual salad? Or eat carrots or something?” He laughed. “Or vegetables that are actually cooked and prepared well? Whatever. I’m not gonna tell you how to live your life; let’s go get that greasy junk food already.” He cheered.

“I’m sure you will, I have no doubt.” Taemin held out his hand for the other to shake. “I don’t know much about payment, however I can assure you that you can have as much free alcohol as you would like. Not to mention I’m sure a babe or two by the end of the night.”

“Free alcohol is all I need.” He assured. “That being said, if you wana slide me maybe a little bit of cash I won’t be upset. But I accept cash only, no venmo or... Just, like, anything electronic whatsoever.” He said. “... I do also take my payment in babes, however.” He added in, grinning as he shook his hand in return.

“I’ll make sure you don’t end up getting taken advantage of.” Eric teased and took a sip of his water as he eagerly awaited Jynx’s reaction to the beverage. “Yeah? Good. Hope it tastes alright, we’re experimenting here.” he winked.

“What a kind soul you are.” He teased a bit, taking another sip and making the exact same face. “Oh, jesus, it tastes like pure liquor. What did you put in this?” He questioned, laughing a little before steeling himself and taking a nice big gulp, downing as much of it as he could in one go.

     “HONESTLY? SOME PEOPLE have wondered if it’s anywhere close to how i sound in the bedroom. i count that as a good reaction.”
