Gods, Guide Me!

  This is a shortened version of my rules (The full one can be found here) where the more important points are highlighted for everyone’s convenience.

I WILL ONLY FOLLOW IF:

I am familiar with your characters and what series they are from. (It is for personal reasons that I am not very open to OCs, unless I am familiar with the mun behind them)

You write in a similar enough style to mine (Meaning paragraphs).

You keep your posts clean enough, meaning that you cut them (3 replies per post is my limit), if you don’t cut your posts when asked nicely to, that results in an unfollow.

You can write with or without icons, but I will not be following blogs that use ginormous icons (That tend to occur with those that write through a mobile platform).

I WILL NOT FOLLOW IF:

You do not have a RULE PAGE and are not planning to make one.

You are from a fandom I am completely unfamiliar with.

This is just to keep my dash clean (Especially if you are spamming too many memes, OOC posts, aesthetics, etc.)

I don’t think our writing styles will click.

I feel uncomfortable with the content I see on my dash (Huge amounts of NSFW, crack, OOC, hate, negativity, etc.)

There are also folks in the RPC that I wish to avoid on here due to past bad experiences. So, if I see you actively interacting with one of them, I’m afraid that I won’t be following. And no, I will not be naming names.

Monster after monster, the BATTLES kept coming. Hercules’s training was paying off, and his enemies were more easily defeated, but there seemed to be one problem that was less easily fixed: the conundrum of the two swords. The good and the bad, exemplified by two weapons, one more dangerous than the other. The Demigod’s father, the almighty Zeus himself, had tasked his son with the objective of finding the swords and making sure neither would fall into the wrong hands. In fact, Hercules had wondered if it was perhaps possible to get rid of the swords altogether. Whatever the case, he’d have to find them first. 

And on this quest of his that was just about to start, Wonderboy encountered a woman quite far from the typical damsel in distress characteristic. He always was a bit awkward around women. “H-hey, hi! I-I-I didn’t see you there. Are you ALRIGHT, Miss?”

   BY THE GODS... for never before had she bore witness to such PROWESS. For even warriors that bore a physique as mighty as his had been quick to fall prey to the RAMPAGING MALFESTED themselves. With a quick flash of an assuring smile back to him, soon enough would the two begin to fight SIDE-BY-SIDE against the remaining ones. And soon enough incapacitating the last few, the holy warrior would finally allow herself a moment with him. As mild surprise would briefly paint her fair features over his ADOLESCENT-LIKE MANNERISMS, before a gentle laugh would bubble past her lips. Ah, so he was a FELLOW GREEK, but-- to which GOD or GODDESS had he prayed to be blessed with such STRENGTH?

Mother’s Day

   O’ BLESSED CHILD… come unto the offered hands that would then take you tenderly by the shoulder. Quick in her attempts to sooth slightly shaky nerves that the young one would still radiate– TIME, time was needed. Now that they were actually allowed to even stand side by side, hand in have. To even revel in one another’s comforting presence… after all these years… Pray to Kronos himself that he would be generous then in his blessings. Stuttered words would eventually bring her attention down towards the very gift that she now held nervously in her own two hands…

   “I love it.” 

   Barely above a whisper, but clearly stated though the commencement of stirred emotions. she was quick to admire it for its intricate wove. The choices of flowers, in colors, the manner in which they were clearly so well spread out from one another… Sophitia could never possibly craft such a delicately beautiful creation such as this herself. A smile all too easily beginning to curl itself upon her very lips, before a kiss was pressed to her child’s forehead. Hand reaching up to brush aside curled bangs with the utmost tenderness– before reaching down to rest upon the gift itself. 

   WREATHS often adorned upon a warrior of the Gods themselves– but, never before, however, would she gaze upon one that would be made with such LOVE and CARE. To know that her daughter had actually picked up such a skill, all on her own, would further bring upon the parental pride of an already swelling heart.

   “Thank you, Pyrrha.          … But, shouldn’t one be made for you as well?”

   BIRTHDAY BAKING INTENSIFIES.

There was a moment of wistful reflection when she looked down upon her shield, absorbing the information given to her so far. This shield that has kept her safe since it was first given to her as a means of defense… her father had made this originally? The symbols that stood as a physical representation of bloody survival, a regretful means to an end… these were crafted by her true father’s hands. Borne from such information was a newfound respect for his craft, and regret that she ever wanted to be rid of such a sword.

She looks back up at her mother, now curious about whatever else there was to be said about her father. It was a childlike wonder that entered her mind now, wondering about how her parents first met. She couldn’t help but feel a little giddy then… was this how it normally felt to learn about your parents? “Really? How did you meet? Surely it can’t be that bad!”

   GAZE UPON IT NOW IN PRIDE, Pyrrha, for it truly did symbolise so much more than that. Not merely BLOOD and SWEAT, but also HOPE, LOVE, STRENGTH and RESOLVE. Eyes crinkled as she smiled softly at her child’s wistful expression. A quiet prayer was once more offered to her BELOVED as her hands clasped briefly together. Oh, dearest Rothion, may the Gods reward you for all that you have done for this family-- long might you have crossed the River of Styx, but forever shall you remain in her memories.
