hey, I’m gonna take a sec to introduce myself. my name’s Grace, I’ve recently (ish) started this blog to let out my hyper fixations. I post headcannons, text posts, AU’s, scenarios, fic recommendations, and more. *all characters are aged up in this AU, ranging from 16 or older depending on the post* if any of this sounds interesting to you, take a seat and enjoy. my asks are open if you’d like me to give you my take on certain headcannons or ideas. Buttercup, whispering to Butch: deny everything

Wait I’ve seen this scene so many times and I’m just now seeing Steve’s bi panic?

Good news! His day off came a couple weeks early!

I couldn’t sleep cause I’ve had this stuck in my head for 2 hours here

BC, Butch, and Boomer all work in a locally owned skate shop in downtown townsville

Boomer and Butch got the job together cause they found the ad and were like “oh hey we both skate- and we both need money- let’s do it”

Bubbles found the ad and showed BC and BC was like “yeah sure”

so anyways

they all got the job and when BC first met Boom and Butch she like lowkey hated them

she just thought they were annoying so she would avoid them at all times during shifts

until one day Boomer was like “yk what I wanna be friends with her” and forced Butch to help intercept her while she was trying to get as far away from them as possible

long story short Boomer somehow charmed his way into her not totally hating him and Butch, by association, became her friend as well

at some point Bubbles decided that she wanted to see what Buttercups job was like so she came to the shop

she saw Boomer and was like “ah yes, I’m staying.”

and now that’s Buttercups life

Bubbles is like a 4th worker who doesn’t know anything about the job and doesn’t get payed

she just shows all the costumers the stuff she thinks is pretty and whatever “matches their vibe”

“you have a dark academia care bear vibe going on, I know exactly what you should get. come with me” “but I’m just here for new grip ta-“ “-coME WITH ME”

Buttercup gave up a long time ago on trying to stop her

Butch and BC were still on the fence about each other even after the Boomer-forces-a-friendship-moment until the day that they both decided to stay after their shifts to clean

don’t ask me why they decided to do that just go with it

BC puts her earbuds in and BLASTS music and Butch gets curious so he asks what she’s playing

turns out they have the same taste in music

she unplugs the earbuds and they have a mini two person dance party to the low quality sound bass of Buttercup’s speakers

from that point on their friendship was no longer just by work association

we will be adding some reds in here for the hell of it

Blossom and Brick run into each other at the shop on the same day

Blossom was there cause she was around the area and decided to check on her sisters

Brick was there cause Butch’s car broke down so he had to give it a jump start

que the ~instant hatred for one another~

it changes pretty quickly but let’s just say Blossom doesn’t appreciate loud arrogant men bursting into a public place of business and yelling for his brother’s to “get their asses out here so he can go the fuck home”

Brick doesn’t appreciate people getting in his business

and as they fight Butch,Buttercup, Bubbles, and Boomer are staring at each other like

“so... that’s your brother”

“yeah...and that’s your sister?”

“mhm.”

“well... I’m sure they’ll warm (badum chh) up to each other eventually

(they do. it just takes some effort)

Boomer is a vegan. bye.

BUTCH WEARS STRICTLY CROP TOPS

at one point Mitch came into the store (for context Mitch is gay and he and BC are really close) for a new board so BC went to help him

and as she and Mitch were talking, across the room Butch had a d e a t h grip on the counter while he was glaring daggers

Boomer noticed and kinda looked at him like “😐🙄👀😏”

which sparked a hushed conversation of Boomer trying to get him to admit he likes BC

he finally does and Boomer tells him that Mitch is very much BC’s platonic friend and very much not attracted to women

Butch calms down but now he has to deal with the realization that he does, in fact, have a thing for BC

Boomer started crushing on Bubbles and unlike his sibling(s), he didn’t try to deny his feelings and asked her out as soon as he could

she said yes, their first date was skating (did i mention Bubbles roller blades? no? well. that’s a thing. my girl is apart of a roller durby team) through the park

it was very cute 10/10

and now Boomer and Bubbles are just kinda placing bets with each other on who will get together first, the reds or the greens

they also both agreed that when (not if, no they KNOW it’s just a matter of time) the greens get together BC *will* be the one to confess first

anyways

BC is a graffiti artist and her boss gave her permission to make the front sign which 100% drew in so many more costumers

Butch, Boomer, and even Brick are all star struck at her work

random but Butch plays the piano in this AU

idk why but it just came to mind and now I’m never letting that go, I will die on this hill #pianoplayerButchsupremacy

when BC finds out he plays she spends 2 weeks trying to convince him to play Piano Man for her

he gives in and finally plays it, and that’s the moment she realizes her feelings for him

one day later, Bubbles won the bet between her and Boomer. the greens are officially an item

and yes, they were right, BC did ask him out first

2: what song fits your pairing the most?

okay this ones kinda hard because I have a 3 hour playlist for them, but probably Killer Queen by Queen. I imagine Butch alone in his room staring at the ceiling listening to it after a day of sparring and flying around with Buttercup, singing along to the words when suddenly it hits him that he has feelings for her. then he falls off his bed.

9: least favorite aspect of them/their relationship dynamics

I absolutely adore them, and everyone has their own headcannons so this one is more about personal preference but I don’t like when they’re portrayed as toxic and abusive, for obvious reasons. they love each other and don’t want to see each other hurt, especially from their own doing.

11: if they aren’t a cannon pairing, how would you get them together?

YES OKAY like I said in part 2 of my Greens Headcannons, Buttercup realizes she likes him after a long ass time of denial and questioning. literally the SECOND she figures it out she rushes over to Butches house, pounds on the door, and is greeted by a very confused Brick, Boomer staring from behind him with a similar expression. she stares Brick dead in the eyes and he knows exactly what’s happening. he points to Butches door and when she goes in he looks up from his video game, pauses it, and starts to ask “what the fuck is up with you” before he’s cut off by her walking up to him and kissing him. when she lets go he’s kind of in a daze for a second, with a bewildered look on his face, before he snaps out of it and drags her back to kiss her again. from the other room you can hear a distant “bow chicka bow wow” and a slap, before the bedroom door is shut tight.
