M A N I F E S T

Everyday a brother fightin the good fight i look at the black men in my community and it seem to me there the ones wearing the mask now. Everybody wanna jug and finesse get over on the next blacc man now. Manipulate a person bad as the media does when the black man gun downed by another cop. Some days i don't even feel like most of our oppresion comes from those who we think oppresses our people as a whole we oppress ourselves. I feel as though we got comfortable inside the box they put us in and never wanna accept the fact there was no box to begin with. I'm losing hope in my people at the same time gaining more faith in myself. I guess thats the catch 22 we all gotta face. People put you in a corner with questions they know the answer saying i just wanna see if you was gonna lie to me. In my mind thats the sound of the police. At the end of the day I see I'm a just a messenger my silence yells don't shoot me.
