gigapause, now with 100% less context

So I spoke to Hira about giga being down because several people on the skype chat wanted to know, and it turns out there was a server crash, and since we’re so close to the deadline for it to shut down and the amount of corrupt data he decided it wasn’t worth fixing just to shut it down a week and a half later.

As for Echeladder, Curt might have been scammed because the site is apparently really sketchy and after paying to change the url the site went down and emails to members wouldn’t go through so it may be down for good. He gave me Curt’s twitter (http://twitter.com/curtisornot) so there might be updates on there if it’s a lost cause or not. He said he’s also going to try and work on more community based sites so even though Giga won’t be coming back we may all meet again on another site.

Thank you all so much for everything. I know myself and a lot of others really loved how Giga was a safe space and we made a lot of friends there, and memories we won’t forget.

I’m going to try and create a gigapause user contact list (it will not be made public so don’t worry about having that info out where people can find it) for those who may have missed anyone’s info. If you would like to be part of the contact list pm me with any info you’d like on the list and your username (if you want things set so that they have to ask you personally for other contact info like skype or facebook let me know and I’ll make a note of it on the list).

i thought our relationship would go without closure forever, but amidst the death of the site he logged back on to say goodbye

so i checked my bookmarks and it turns out there was a whole set of handsome jack interactions i never screenshotted

after this he sort of just stopped logging on. and now… now hell never log on again…
