Ainât Goinâ NowhereÂ
You sat up in your cot, using the lamp by your bedside to read a few pages of the book Mary-Beth gave you. None of it stuck with you though, your attention taken by impatience instead. It was never easy to wait for Arthur to return from a job, even if you had the reassurance of the other boys going along with him. They protected one another out there, covered each other, but your nerves still got the better of you.Â
Just as you flipped the page, you heard the horses riding back into camp. You let out a breath of relief at the sound, glad to hear some of the others cheering and laughing instead of gasping and shouting. You waited a few moments before moving to get up, anxious to go check on Arthur, when you heard Johnâs voice close to the tent.
âYou might wanna go rinse off before she sees ya,â he suggested. âA bloody face ainât a pretty sight.â
Your heart began racing in panic.
âYouâre one to talk about beinâ a pretty sight Marston,â Arthur grumbled. âGo on and let me take care of this.â
You watched the canvas move around the tent as Arthur pushed inside, his hat tilted down as low as possible to avoid your gaze.Â
âDarlinâ, I just gotta go clean up, I got dirt all over me, then Iâll-â
âDirt?â you asked, standing from the cot and making your way over to him. âSince when am I bothered by some dirt?â
âItâs a lot of dirt,â he assured. âI look a mess, honey. Just give me a minute, alright?âÂ
After reaching for a clean shirt, Arthur began to turn and leave the tent before you put your hand on his shoulder, gently pulling him back. He let out a long sigh as he hung his head, knowing he was caught out.Â
âArthur,â you called to him softly, your voice low and worried.
Are you still taking prompts? I hope so bc I would loooove to see a lil something with Arthur protecting reader from someone who hurt them. I don't have a specific prompt but I love everything you write x
Hi! I'm always taking prompts, but I have been struggling with writers block and inspo lately so I'm sorry if it takes a while to get to your idea, but I love it and I hope you enjoy!
This couldnât be real. You had to blink a few times to make sure you werenât dreaming, stuck in a nightmare. Your ex-fiancee, Thomas, was a cruel man, a man that didnât forget the people who wronged him. Especially the woman who ran out on him before you could wed, embarrassing him in every way. You knew he saw you from across the room, there was no way he would miss you in this crowd. For all you knew, he had been seeking you out.
You moved over to the girls who sat around a small table by the bar, leaning in close to Karen.
âShould we head back to camp?â you asked, not wanting to sound too nervous.
âHead back?â Karenâs eyes widened, her hand gripping a bottle of whiskey. âHell, the sunâs only just gone down! Câmon, have a drink!â
I love your writing so much :) Can you please write something with reader being pregnant but like after the gang is done?? I want to imagine Arthur in a nice house somewhere peaceful because he deserves a cozy happy ending!
That's a very sweet idea! Thanks for reading xx
You groaned with each step you took, your hands resting on the small of your back, just behind your hips. Closing your eyes, you huffed out a breath and hung your head back.Â
âI canât keep doing this.â
Arthur had been behind you the whole time, silently trailing along as you paced around on the porch. Around you, rain continued to fall onto the land surrounding your home. Even the weather seemed to be miserable.Â
âIt ainât gonna be too much longer,â he sighed, his voice laced with frustration.Â
Not frustration with you, though. Arthur absolutely hated that he couldnât do anything to ease your pain. He hated it even more knowing that it was his fault you were in this position at all.Â
âThatâs what you said yesterday,â you whined. âIâm so sick of everyone saying that. Iâm aching all over, and I'm so goddamn uncomfortable I canât even sit down.â
Arthurâs body was a warm surprise behind you when you opened your eyes to the beginning of morning sun shining through the tent, suddenly remembering you were not alone. You had spent so long apart, it was hard to believe you werenât still dreaming.Â
You rolled over slowly, an easy smile growing on your lips as you pressed your bare chest to his own, hugging him close. He let out a long hum of content, his arms winding around you lazily as he fought against waking.Â
âMm, sorry,â you mumbled, voice groggy and slurred. âGo back to sleep.â
Arthur yawned before he tucked your head beneath his chin, pressing a kiss to the top, as his fingers swept softly along your spine.Â
âAinât quite sure âm even awake,â he huffed.
You pressed a gentle kiss to his neck, your hand moving up to slide along the nape. As if you needed to be impossibly closer.Â
âI missed you,â you sighed.Â
âMissed you too, sweetheart,â he whispered, squeezing you tight.Â

Hi! Absolutely love your writing! Do you have a master list?
Thank you! Just posted x

Hey guys, hereâs a collection of all my work so far. I have a list of prompts to work through but feel free to send any of your ideas and I'll do my best to write something youâll enjoy x
Hi! I loved your fics! Could you write something cute about Arthur and his oc daughter Addie? I'm sorry I don't have a specific prompt in mind :)
Thank you! I hope you enjoy xx
You woke up to the sound of Arthur quietly shushing the little girl in your tent, feeling little feet and hands crawling around the bedroll until they settled with a whisper.Â
âYâsaid we go riding today daddy,âÂ
Arthur chuckled quietly, keeping his voice low.
âThe sun only just came up, little miss,â he shook his head.Â
âBut you said-â
âShh, Addie, mamaâs still sleeping,â he reminded. âWeâll go ridinâ, but we gotta get your boots on, and your coat and your gloves. Itâs cold out there, âspecially for little fingers and toes.â
You smiled into the pillow as you heard Arthur carefully reach around for the clothes they would need, leaning down close to you and pressing a soft, lingering kiss to the top of your head.Â
Prompt: reader being saved by Arthur from Sexual Assault from Micah or some other dude?
Arthur was searching frantically from the moment he lost sight of you. The bar was full of rowdy drunks and the music forced them all to shout yell their way around. If you were amongst the crowd, he certainly couldnât see you.Â
As the minutes passed, Arthur became more agitated. He began shoving people out of his way as he moved around the room, opting to check upstairs when he had no luck. A few ladies called for his attention as he made it to the corridors upstairs, but he paid them no mind as he kept moving along. He pressed his ear to the doors of the rooms, but he couldnât hear anything alarming.Â
That was until he made his way to the end of the hall. Someone was struggling inside the room, banging against the floor while a man shushed them and laughed. Arthur pushed against the door.
âThis roomâs taken!â the man called back.
That didnât matter none to Arthur who grit his teeth and kicked the door in, watching as it fell to the floor and exposed the man on top of you.Â
Your eyes were wide with fear, you hands scrambling to grab the chair nearby. Your blouse had been ripped open, you skirt hiked up your waist, and the man had his buckle undone as he held you down. One of his hands laid across your mouth, squeezing your jaw to keep you quiet.Â
âJesus! Who the hell do you think you are!â the man shouted.Â
Arthur didnât say a word in response. Instead, he marched forward and grabbed the man by his collar and lifted him up, slamming him against the wall with enough force to make the man dizzy.
âYou slimy, rotten, piece of shit!â Arthur growled. âAinât no man treat a lady like that. Ainât no goddamn man!â
He tried to push against Arthur, reaching out his hand to shove in his face, but Arthur caught him and bent his fingers back, listening as they cracked and broke in his hold.
âAhhhh! You son of a bitch!â
Arthur swung until his fist collided with the manâs face, over and over, until he passed out against the wall and slid down to hit the ground with a heavy thump.
With blood covering his knuckles, Arthur turned to you and saw the horror on your face. Not from his actions, but from how close you came to being absolutely violated.Â
âCâmon now, we gotta get outta here,â he sighed, shrugging off his coat and slipping it onto you instead.
You held your arms steady as he dressed you, helping you stand and pulling your skirts back down again.
âHey, look at me,â he whispered, cupping your cheek. âYouâre alright now, okay? I got you.â
You shook your head as you looked at him, your eyes filling with tears.Â
âI c-canât go out there,â you cried. âI canât h-have them lookinâ at me like this.â
âWeâll go out the side, no one gonna see us,â he assured. âHere, hold my hand, alright? I ainât gonna let go, so just hold onto me and weâll be outta here. Okay?â
You gave a gentle nod, taking his hand in yours.Â
âTake a deep breath, alright? Take a second and just breathe.â
You looked up at him and used your other hand to wipe your tears, but they just kept coming. You were trembling now, full of terror and trauma. You couldnât help as you leaned forward and pressed your forehead to his chest, wanting to be close and protected.
He wrapped his arm around you, resting his head above your own, and began to rub your back softly.
âItâs okay now darlinâ, itâs okay,â he whispered. âI ainât gonna let nothinâ like that happen again, you hear? Ever. I got you now sweetheart, I got you, itâs okay.â
Prompt:Â âWill you please just let me help you?â
Walking into camp was agony. Your leg felt like it was on fire, sending a pain throughout your whole body with each step.Â
You had messed up a robbery earlier in the day, wasting a whole dayâs work and a lot of effort on the gangâs behalf. Dutch had been furious, and Micah had taken to insulting and making fun of you at any chance he got. Bill had been grumbling about it all evening, muttering that they should have followed up his lead instead, where things would have gone smoother. Even Arthur had been a little cold to you, as well.Â
The gang needed money, and you had let them all down. You owed them a good score. They were providing you with refuge, after all. You would have been left for dead weeks ago if they hadnât come across you walking by the creek, desperate for some food and shelter. You told them you could help, that you had been robbing for years, and you had failed them.Â
At sundown, youâd had enough. You took off on your horse, intent on bringing back something substantial to make up for the day. No one bothered to follow, assuming you were taking off to sulk to lick your wounds at the bar in town.
Instead, you had a satchel over your shoulder, packed with money and trinkets. It was late when you came back, but Dutch was still awake, reading by his lamplight. You dumped the satchel at his feet, hoping the bloodstains didnât ruin the cash inside, and waited for him to look up at you.

MayaÂ
This has been in my drafts for so long and itâs quite long. Maya is around 15-16 years old and the relationship between her and Arthur is purely platonic, very father-daughter/mentor. I wanted to write something soft and non-romantic for once, just for a change. My usual content isnât changing, however I will most likely add to this series with Maya because itâs fun to write. I wrote this over the course of a few months, just adding to it every now and then, so I hope itâs not too messy to follow. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it too xxÂ
You had latched onto Arthur very early on. He was the one to find you, after all. Tied to a chair in an OâDriscoll camp, bruised and bloody, crying for help.Â
âWhoa, hey, hey, itâs alright,â he told you, his voice gentle. âI ainât gonna hurt you, kid. Gonna get you outta here, alright?â
You clung to the back of his coat as he walked you out of the camp, shooting at the men still alive and ready to steal you back. Javier, John and Bill were running around the camp, taking what they could, clearing out the rest of the gang as Arthur lead you to his horse.
Dutch and Hosea welcomed you to the gang that night, offering you food and shelter, assuring you that you were safe. They offered to take you home, to take you to a train and get you back home safely. You broke down in tears when you told them there was no one left for you. No one out looking for their lost daughter, no one scouring the land in search of you. The OâDriscollâs had killed them months ago, and you were on your own.
âOh, you poor child,â Hosea sighed, shaking his head while he shared a look with Dutch.Â
They werenât in the best position to be taking on more mouths to feed, but they couldnât let you go on your own. As Dutch preached, they saved folks who needed saving, and you were in dire need of saving.
âWhatâs your name, child?â the dark-haired man asked.
âMaya,â you whispered. âMaya Daniels.â
âWell, Maya, welcome home.â
Prompt: Reader hiding injuryÂ
You had been trying to avoid Arthur all day and although it was a small camp, you had managed to do so well enough. Arthur noticed, though. It was hard not to. Every time he moved nearby, you hurried away. When you sat at the table to drink your coffee, you saw his boots approaching from beneath your hat, and you gulped down the whole cup before making your way over to the wash area.
Since returning to camp the evening before, you had been doing your best to keep to yourself. You told the others you needed some rest, hiding away in your tent for the rest of the night. You had been doing well so far, keeping yourself busy with chores around camp, brushing down your horse and washing your clothes in the river nearby. But Arthur was no fool, as much as he proclaimed to be.Â
You were sitting by a wagon on the edge of camp when you heard him approaching. With your hat pulled down low on your face, you could barely tell if he was looking at you, but you could see the frustration clear on his face. Before you had a chance to jump up from your position, he let out a long sigh and shook his head.Â
âIf you start walkinâ away again, I'm just gonâ follow you,â he shrugged, resting his hands on his belt. âSo how âbout you spare us both the trouble instead of runninâ off again?â
I'd love to read something about arthur reacting to the reader having a panic attack. That is if you feel comfortable writing about such subjects! â¤
Thank you for this idea! I hope you enjoy xxx
When you and Arthur were sure you had outrun those men, you found a clearing behind some trees and decided to catch your breath. He was right behind you as you dismounted your horse, shaking and full of adrenaline. Almost tripping over some rocks, you straightened yourself up and began pacing in circles.
âWe lost âem,â he assured, his voice a little strained from riding so hard.
âFor now,â you mumbled, shaking your head. âWonât be long...theyâll find me. He will find me.â
just wanted to say that i absolutely ADORE your writing!!!!!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoy reading these little pieces as much as I enjoy writing them xxx
a few years after the fall of the gang you and arthur run into mary but you have a kid of your own now :O
There's so many ways this could go. I hope you enjoy! xx
Arthur was loading up the wagon with supplies when he felt someone staring. He had a keen sense of being watched after so many years on the run and although it had been a few years since the gang had fallen apart, his survival instincts never left.
âArthur?â
He turned toward the familiar voice, his heart racing.
âMary...â he whispered, his eyes wide.

i love your fics!!!! if youâre still taking prompts, Iâm seriously lacking touch starved arthur content. like i imagine him wanting to be held or touched gently but going rigid anytime someone so much as bumps into him, but eventually gets comfortable enough to curl up in readerâs lap like a giant dog that thinks itâs a lapdog. or gets all hesitant when heâs about to be kissed but gets so overwhelmed by how starved heâs been he just takes what he needs. idk im in love with him lol.
I absolutely love this idea! I hope you enjoy xx
It had taken a while for Arthur to get used to your affection. Not because he didnât enjoy it, but because he found he enjoyed it too much. It had been so long since he had someone to love, someone who would reach for his hand to simply hold it in their own, to hug him just because they could and to hold him just for the sake of holding him.
The first time you leaned your head against his shoulder in camp, while you sat by the fire, you felt his whole body tense up as if he was on guard for an attack. Rigid and anxious. You looked up at him and noticed he was looking down at his feet, deep in thought.
âYou okay?â you had asked, whispering so only he would hear you.
He gave you a small nod, but his body remained on edge.
deeply obsessed w ur writing. come back 2 ur fics often lol. anywhooo hehe since ur taking prompt requests, i often think abt standing between arthur morganâs legs and shaving his face for him. i just think itâd be sweet. heâs all handsy and annoying while readerâs trying to do him a damn favour. anyway thank u 4 bestowing ur writing upon us <3
Thank you so much! I enjoy writing these fics and it means so much that you enjoy reading them enough to revisit. This was a really sweet idea and I hope you enjoy xx
Arthur couldnât help himself. With you standing between his legs as he sat on the edge of the cot, his hands wandering up the back of your thighs to rest on your rear. You gave him a small smirk, shaking your head before he gave you a squeeze.
âEasy, cowboy,â you warned. âWhoâs holding a blade right now?â
âWhat? Just gettinâ comfortable here,â he shrugged, a playful grin on his lips. âWho knows how long youâll be standing there.â
âI wonât be standing here at all if you keep it up,â
Arthur chuckled, linking his hands across the small of your back.
âAlright, I'll behave,â he grinned.
âMm, somehow I donât believe you,â you shook your head, trying to suppress your grin.
You moved your hand gently along his jaw, carefully running the blade along his skin and taking off sections of his overgrown beard. When you suggested doing this for him, he had argued that he was more than capable of shaving on his own, but it didnât take much for him to accept the offer. Especially when you were positioned right in front of him like this.
âStay still,â you instructed, moving one hand up to cup the back of his head which kept lolling backward.
âSorry,â he mumbled. âYouâre puttinâ me to sleep here, darlinâ.â
You looked down to see his eyes closed, his expression so relaxed your heart clenched at the idea of keeping him awake. He looked so peaceful, so relaxed and content from your touch alone.
âYou can sleep when Iâm finished,â you promised. âIf you go falling back I'm gonna end up cutting you with this damn razor.â
âCanât help it,â he sighed, fighting his exhaustion. âYouâre just too damn good at this.â
âAt what? Shaving?â
âMakinâ me forget where âm at,â he hummed.
You smiled, full of love, and leaned forward to press a kiss to his forehead.
âJust a little longer,â
Arthur was silent for a few moments as you worked at his beard, but you soon felt his hands crawling along your thighs again, running up and down, pulling you even closer.
âArthur,â you warned, watching as his lips pulled up into a cheeky smirk.
âWhat? Just tryna stay awake,â he defended, moving his legs out wider to bring you in and trap you against him.
âIâm just trying to clean you up,â you huffed. âAnd you canât be still for five minutes.â
Arthur laughed, opening his eyes now to grin up at you.
âAinât too good at beinâ patient,â
âOh, I'm very aware of that,â you laughed, shaking your head. âEven when I'm doing somethinâ nice for you.â
âMm, donât know why you put up witâ me,â
ââcause I love you, you goddamn fool. Now stay still for a few minutes before I give up completely.â
Arthur gripped your hips once again, staring up at you with the same dopey grin still plastered on his face.
âIâll do my best.â
