You look familiar

So I had gotten into a car accident on June 8, 2023 which left me rattled because I literally had to start a new job four days later. From the moment I set foot in the new job, I was worked like a pack mule and basically emotionally abused by the owner any chance she got. After 10 months of abuse, I left the job because of major health issues effecting my ability to be on my feet.

In all that time, I was too exhausted to turn on my computer. All of my social media and life was basically non-existent.

I am partially back now as I try to get my life together again.

Some characters will be getting an overhaul and some will be retired.

I am closing my secondary blog @outcfink at the end of April as I have no mental capacity to keep up with more characters.

"You really know how to charm a girl don't you?"

Rosie tilted her head in amusement as a newcomer came bounding out from one of the halls.

Her fire-like locks danced with each movement, nearly distracting her from the unique features. Her words came out to Rosie in a rush, making her step back in surprise.

"Hello?” The voice was garbled, cutting in and out due to interference. “Can anyone hear me? I don’t know where I am.” They sounded feminine. “God, I hope this is a two-way radio.”

Granted, good thing it had been tidied out most recently, for her question posed to the Captain may have caused him to trip over a box or loose wire. Certainly it didn’t stop the pink from blooming to a brighter shade of red.

“Well, there’s the time he wouldn’t stop talking about your hair because you had it done a way he hadn’t seen before,” Jenny snickered as she led them along a corridor.

Of course she would have to mention that incident, as Minjae almost wanted to cringe at himself. But Rosie’s question instead had him tilting his head. “Y-yeah, there’s uh, well, there’s a lot of them that come to the festivals…”

“‘Might even just meet some before we take off.” Jenny glanced back with a wink, as if to hint to something.

Her footsteps filled with glee as her combat boots clanked against the ship’s metal floor. She looked up at Minjae with her nose scrunched in amusement. “ Which style was it?” It was no secret that he loved messing with her locks, but he’s never been too vocal on her hairstyles other than the words It’s pretty or It’s very you. “The bun? The cut? Oh, was it when I bleached my head?” She pointed to her currently blonde scalp. “Cause I don’t know if I’ll ever do this again. It was a nightmare to do.”

a soldier who carries a mighty sword, they will tear your city down...

Confidently stupid

You think you are the smartest person on earth as you put your spoon in the microwave to make it easier to scoop ice cream. You give awful advice that sounds smart when spoken but terrible when executed. You insist on doing things yourself and are so absolutely sure you are doing everything right. Your confidence gives you charm, as well as the bravery to do the dumb things that you do.

He really wasn’t going to hear the end of that one, was he?

The crew certainly took to their title of family, even to the extent of teasing one another like siblings. Minjae never had an older sister, or any sibling for that matter growing up, but despite her playful bantering he couldn’t have pictured anyone better suited than Jenny.

“Ah, well um…” his hand once again found refuge to hide behind the back of his head as he ruffled his curls. Yet that little sparkle in her eyes was far too endearing for him to deny as a bright flush coloured his features. “Y-yeah, of course! W-why wouldn’t I? I mean, you’re…well…”

With a small shake of her head Jenny only smiled before waving them along once again. “Alright lovebugs, let’s set sail, yeah? I hear there’s a festival in the Ta’galla system and if we hurry we can catch the L’alola parade.”

She reached up and pulled his face down to hers, pressing a soft kiss against his cheek. Her thanks silently communicated through her actions. "I think you're pretty amazing too, space man." She turned to Jenny as she gripped his hand tight. "What else does he say about me when I'm nowhere close enough to deny him?"
