So GMMTV has fansigns every day for the International Novel Festival hosted on the top floor of Samyan Mitrtown. The fansigns are registration only but the after fan meeting is first come first serve for the outdoor area with queuing day of.
Shorthand: A fan was in the outdoor area and staff removed them - and violence ensued between the staff and fan. An initial statement was issued from GMMTV. [photo under the break]
Since then trending boycotts have been made and Mark was stalked at the gmmtv building. And he deactivated his socials.
The Long version:
A lot of this is he said/she said btw about the queuing process. And I hope I have the actual facts correct.
Some say the fan queued all day and her spot placer (an umbrella) was removed. Or that she had a friend who saved her spot. (Also that she swapped to wearing a blue jacket during the previous meet that she also attended) And she acted in self defense (by kicking) when the staff attacked her.
The others say no she queued jumped. And that the staff took pictures of everyone who was there at the time and she wasn't to be seen.
Either way staff was alerted that she and her friend wasn't supposed to be there and they attempted to verbally talk them into leaving for a while. Now these fans are Chinese so staff are trying to talk to them in limited english. I believe they did get someone who spoke chinese to talk with them. Staff explained as long as they were there being uncooperative, JuniorMark wouldn't come to their side. Her friend leaves but she doesn't.
I've seen clips where staff is reaching towards her while sitting and she's yanking back etc. I'm unsure how they finally get her to stand and leave.
I watched the main spliced clip being circulated and this is what's seen: As they were walking her out. There's two female staffers escorting her. There's one holding on to her bag in front, and at the back is the other. The girl turns around with her phone and that's when the one staffer at the back goes to cover it and then girl yanks forward. (Spliced here) she kicks at the staffer to be free and then said staffer wraps around her shoulders and they go to the floor. Wresting ensues and more staff circle to block.
Now I was literally there at Samyan at the time of this incident but I did not happen to see it. But I think I have the correct timeline. I had arrived to the 5th floor just around that time (I did hear some noise as I came up) and fan times showed around 8:20 of one of the seated instances. Walked past the lined up fans at the entrance to the fair. Heard screaming, turned around to see what was happening and the security was trying to get me to move. They did not want me standing near that entrance pillar at all. And the crazy part was the way he was telling me in thai something and gesturing back towards the escalators - because walking past the actors and blocking fan cams makes sense apparently. I just put my hands up and walked backwards further into the fair area so he would stop. I was not there to cause a scene myself by being nosy - I just wanted to see the booths/books. JuMark go by pretty fast and I went to walk into the fair - My first photo taken inside is at 8:27 of one of the booths. My only photo of JuMark is of them outside and it's at 8:35 and on the other side away from where that fan was apparently sitting (based on the way they walked her to the door). The next stamped time fans shared is 8:49 where she is getting pulled out - by that time I was walking around the floor below and heard the commotion but couldn't see from where I was standing. So JuMark may have seen the altercation go down.
The next day GMMTV posted their statement. The Chinese Embassy in Bangkok posted their statement since it involves a foreigner.
They suspended the staffer until the investigation is completed.
It created a fanwar between chinese and thai fans because of the statement. Chinese fans think the thai attendees were being discriminatory towards her as a motive to kick her out. Thai fans think gmmtv sided with the chinese fanbase by suspending the staffer. So now boycotts have been made with everyone. Several fanclubs have posted statements saying they won't trend anything for GMMTV artists until the situation is cleared up. And rumors spread that a chinese brand canceled their deal with Mark.

Last night (Mon July 27), images started circling of Mark inside the GMMTV building from a fan's weibo. One of which is a video of his back in the elevator. Note: Fans are only allowed to go to the 30th floor for the shop after giving your passport to the receptionist. And there's only specific elevators we can use for this too. Rumors were saying it was the same fan.
Afterwards, Mark's insta and twitter accounts have been deactivated.

The Fan and Staffer both filed a legal complaint against each other then with mutual agreements revoked it. The staffer has also be reinstated. GMMTV wants everyone to respect the decision and bring the incident to a close (aka shut up about it). They don't mention the stalking claim or why Mark's accounts are down.
Why did you get up? Can you wait for me? Wait? Wait until I’ve fully recovered. Then we’ll go together. Mok… The time we spent apart, I don’t know if it was enough for you to figure out how you feel.
Me and thee is a wonderful example of how when you’re making a show with a (frankly) ridiculous concept you MUST commit to the bit but also committing to the bit does not mean it is void of heart or sincerity or well written characters and dynamics you CAN do both you SHOULD do both and this show did both and I love it endlessly
