Got the monitor mounted. Bought the plexiglass, just need to cut it to fit. More photos soon

The original plan was to add new micro switches in specific places but it was simpler to just use the existing wiring. The result is pushing the coin return button adds credits, the coin slots should work to but have not tested out yet.

Finally got the buttons to work. There was a short in the ground. Just need to reprogram the buttons right.

Charles and I got some more much needed parts for the arcade. Got some puck shaped LED lights for the marquee. Everything is wired up and we just need to get the screen and speakers mounted in. More to come.

Finally got the iPAC wired for the controls.

We ordered what should be the last of the parts for the project (although I have a feeling we might need a couple more). I will update soon with the finished paint job.

Time to gut the machine

Most the emulators are up and running. Still having issue with the Sega Saturn and PlayStation 1 emulators. For some reason, disc based are hard to get running in the Maximus Arcade software.

We got a 2.1 speaker system to replace the crappy speakers currently in the cabinet. The flat front will help with mounting them over the speaker holes. The subwoofer will make it sound great!

Here is the new tower it is a mini tower which should fit much better in the cabinet. It's a Dell Optiplex 330.

Got a new computer to run everything much faster.

Here is the much better version of the marquee that I designed. It is several images combined to make the effect. Special thanks goes out to the artist that made Ryu, because it looks awesome!

Was installing the Sega Saturn emulator (its a pain in the butt) and realized that I needed the latest version of DirectX for sound and stuff

Tempted to give this interface a try just to see. Still a little partial to the MA interface but if couldn't hurt to install and try it out.
