So, I had the name Brady Danielle Ellis Quick picked out for a long time; Brady because my mom had told me that she would have named me that if she knew I was going to be so much like my dad and I chose Ellis because it's my dad's middle name and I thought that it would make him a little more accepting of my transition when I told him. I still have not really explained everything to him(I have a letter that I am sending) but at my graduation party, my mom tried to talk to him and he said that he doesn't care what I do but he is NEVER going to call me Brady or anything else besides my birth name and that I'm his DAUGHTER and by doing this I am taking away everything he has ever gave me(which is bullshit because he hasn't wanted anything to do with me my whole life except to make people think he's been trying to be a dad to me but has neglected to do so since my stepmom came into the picture because now it's all about her and my brother and sister). So, since my name was chosen mostly as a possible way to connect to my dad and he has made that clear that he's not even going to TRY to be supportive, I have decided that I want to explore different name options before I legally change it. So any ideas? Please help! I'm lost! I'm asking everyone and anyone to give me name suggestions!
