The emotions are better to write than to express

Sometimes the enemy looks like anxiety. Sometimes the enemy looks like depression. Sometimes the enemy looks like procrastination. Sometimes the enemy looks like complacency. Sometimes the enemy looks like negativity. Sometimes the enemy looks like fun. Sometimes the enemy looks like a good idea. Sometimes the enemy looks like he’s not that bad.

Replacing “what if” with “even if” in our mental vocabulary is one of the most liberating exchanges we can ever make. We trade our irrational fears of an uncertain future for the loving assurance of an unchanging God.

Anyone who has grown mentally, physically or spiritually knows that growth is not found in comfort.

Esther was attempting to save the entire Jewish people (including herself) from death.  She was taken care of by an uncle because her parents had passed.  These things did not ruin her chances with King Xerxes who fell in love with her. He came to her people’s defense once it was made known to him.   The King saw her beauty & strength in spite of her struggles & stresses.  Your race, a difficult childhood, nor high stakes keep you away from the right man pursuing Godliness.

Be love, so much love that when others are with you, they are love.

With everything that has happened to you, you can either feel sorry for yourself or treat what has happened as a gift. Everything is either an opportunity to grow or an obstacle to keep you from growing. You get to choose.
