hi im about to get dreadlocks and I need some recommendations on hair extensions so I can dread those also. I would love to have a conversation about dreadlocks overall just so that I know everything I need to before I get them. I don't know anyone with dreads in my town so its hard to find someone to talk with. if anyone is willing to help me out it would be GREATLY appreciated thank you!:)
There's all sorts of dreadlock info out there, so it does get a bit confusing trying to mine it yourself! There are tons of starter methods and maintenance methods - and at least as many people/groups/forums who think they have the "right" way. There's no "right" way to starting them, as long as you're happy with them. I'm happy to help in any way I can! Have you decided how you'd like to start?Â

Emeshea's newly re-done locks! A fairly major overhaul of previously flipped and flattened 14 month old locks, they're now nice and round (easier to palm roll!) and the leftover holes and escaped hair from the interlocking have been woven tight into the dreads. With and easy aftercare routine of washing and rolling, these nice big locks are gonna felt up amazing!
