One Tree Hill has become my life

Do people even really appreciate the writing of this show...? It's so great. Let me just focus on "Bitchtoria," season 5. It is so subtle, but shows off her character to a T. Whenever she and Brooke are, for lack of a better word, getting along, she makes sure to state that she is a business partner; that Clothes Over Bro's is a company; it is not personal, it is business. BUT when Brooke argues with Victoria, when things aren't going Victoria's way, she pulls the "mother-card" because she knows how much Brooke wants her mother. She calls Brooke her "dutiful daughter" and says she is not just an employee, she is her mother when Brooke fires her. She says at one point that Brooke wouldn't just lose a business partner, she would lose a mother too. It's her way of manipulation and shows how actually evil Victoria is in Season 5. Seriously, it's something as subtle phrasing that made this show so spectacular.
